  1. Show me the quite a few times my posts have been cleaned up for attacking a poster personally. This is complete bs. The one time I felt I was being an asshole, I immediately reached out to the poster and apologized. Not going to waste my time posting somewhere that moderators lie about editing posts and threaten to ban posters. Have a good one.
  2. He's captain ST so I don't get too excited about his offense in spring.
  3. And I want to emphasize that everything Yoan "bunts" - if he does - it does not mean that Ricky called for it.
  4. Robert hasn't ever really hit a ball off a light tower 420 feet away. Mazara also has that level of raw power.
  5. I'm not sure there's a person alive with more raw power than Eloy. People have the same power, but I don't think anyone has more.
  6. I actually think the best hitter of them all will be Vaughn, but I don't think that's because I feel Robert isn't going to be amazing. I think Vaughn is looking at 1000 ops over and over again. Defensively - Robert (I think he has the potential to be an all-time great level defensive CF'er) Overall - Robert/Yoan (this one is really hard) Striking fear in opponents - Eloy (there's something to be said about dropping 50 bombs)
  7. Robert's aggression appears to be a product of the talent he was facing, and not his overall approach. Antoher BB.
  8. I absolutely love the 3-0 green light for Robert. ALthough he shoulda taken that pitch.
  9. That was the plan. They said he'd only get one inning in-game today, and then throw a few more in bullpen.
  10. Fantastic play by Bote to rob Anderson of an RBI double at least.
  11. So much speed in this lineup; another infield single, this time for Yoan. 2-2 since the extension was signed. Jack was right, he was pressing!
  12. It's amazing that i've been impressed by Robert given how irrationally high my expectations are for him. His swing is just so damn simple; I don't see the glaring hole yet, but maybe it comes. He spits on a lot of good pitches with ease.
  13. Luis Robert is just unbelievable.
  14. Walk and K rates normalize faster than every other stat in baseball; everyone should be very excited about Eloys increase patience at the dish.
  15. He won't continue to have 1.5 WHIP's and succeed; I can guarantee that.
  16. COllins > Grandal defensively
  17. TO be fair, he ALWAYS has terrible Aprils.
  18. Schwarber lol What power hitter gets nicked on the jersey in spring and wants to make sure the ump knows right away. Get some ABs in you pantload!
  19. I think his FA contract if he's really good would pay him around 35 million annually; obviously it would be more for a 2 year deal, but this is an extension so it's not really a two year deal.
  20. Fun Jon Lester fact for all Cub fans who called him an ace and an elite arm; Jon Lester career WAR: 46.1 Mark Buehrle career WAR: 52.3 After I say that, the Ump gives lester a strike a foot inside to ring up abreu.
  21. I have no idea how Jon Lester gets anyone out anymore.
  22. Moncada 1-1 for one with his new deal!
  23. If he's really good, he's looking at about 35-37 million in Arb + two FA years of 35ish million per. That puts him at about 107 and he's going to make 90.
  24. Link to a stream; if it's allowed here. *narrators voice*"it is not allowed here ?
