Look at Ray Ray Run

Edman is done. He will never be that player again. He was already light with the bat pre wrist surgery. Almost 30 and relies on his legs for value.

For the record, the last young cuban the Dodgers gave up due to positional log jams was Yordan Alvarez. I just wanted to say one positive thing while I cry in the corner.

Watch him play, and you'll understand why most are down on him.

This trade is so bad that soxtalk is holding out hope that Bruce Levine is right and everyone else wrong. Things have really sunk deep.

Vargas is a AAAA, just like Getz.

Chris Getz continues to target players who play the game like him. How can Vargas be a headliner? Unbelievable.

This is honestly devastating as a fan. Sox give up three MLB pieces and somehow get back three minor league assets. They didn't get quantity or quality. This is honestly terrible.

Getz will argue vargas graduated from top prospect to bad big leaguer.

I didn't think anyone alive viewed him highly.

Fedde to cardinals

Flaherty is getting moved. He was scratched from his start because the tigers aren't run by complete morons.

I don't have data on this, but can't remember a team ever making 5 trades in a day.

If he accumulates another 15 war he's top 100 all time. Which will put him in the conversation. No guarantee he gets there though with how he's sliding.

Sox have been selling longer than any team but have gotten nothing done. This means one or two things: 1. Getz has no idea about market value (similar to hahn) and has overplayed his hand badly. 2. The Sox have no idea what to do.

If Eloy wasn't made of glass he'd probably be carlos Lee. The injuries and time away have undoubtedly hurt him offensively and made him useless.

He's a really talented kid, but Sox don't seem to be the ones that could fix him. His numbers as a 21 year old were impressive but he's broken right now.

Yes, I'm 100% certain he's trying to.

This is a business. Crochet can only hurt his value today. The team who acquires him would probably prefer these extra innings for themselves. I want to keep crochet so I'm fine pitching him but Getz is trying to move him....

Who cares? If he stays you pitch him Wednesday. The Sox season is over. Crochet needs his innings monitored. It makes zero sense to pitch him today but Getz is a buffoon

Jazz and Randy certainly in the ballpark.

Holding a guy down for non-baseball reasons. What I find possible is that Getz has no idea what he's doing here and teams are moving on.

I think it's a trash move personally.

I agree its not an obstacle but not because of what boob said. In fact, nearly every player in the game would understand why he was resting. These guys are professionals and this is their job. Garrett is basically on the league minimum.

Of course it's not, why wouldn't a team with money be willing to lock up one of the games elite arms?

Chris Getz was the director of player development. The White Sox have less talent than any team in baseball. It doesn't matter who you want to blame, those outcomes are his responsibility.
