Rick Hahn - Mastermind of Failure
oh puleeze dude. What part of Hahn's history says he didn't want to waste big money on the bullpen? What part of Hahn's history as a GM signing free agents tells you that he was held hostage by La Russa?

Rick Hahn - Mastermind of Failure
I've become convinced that this team doesn't prepare, doesn't scheme for situational baseball, doesn't practice, and there is simply no accountability. This is the symptom of a TLR, even more as he's this old, led ballclub. They're a rutter less ship with very little direction or guidance. I went back and watched the Moncada/Engel debacle, and got a brief glimpse on one of the replays of Boston - 10000% silent. Moncada is running to 2nd base on a ball being caught, and Boston isn't even yelling back. The onus at the end of the day will always be on the players, but the leadership of this team is non-existent, and the narrative has never ever been one of urgency. If I have to hear them talk about how there's a lot of season left... these guys like playing together.... it's just a rough patch... the injuries hurt... yada yada, I'm going to explode. That narrative comes from the top down. La Russa coaches with no urgency, and the players play with none. They're all going through the motions resting on the laurels of their "talent" which has been stated to them over and over again. The fact that this team has made absolutely no changes anywhere for a team that plays flat-out terrible baseball, given how high their expectations are, is a huge slap in the face to not just the fans but ALSO the players.

Rick Hahn - Mastermind of Failure
The most underperoforming team in baseball this year and they've made zero changes.

Sox at San Fran 7/1/22 game thread I left my manager in San Francisco
He really worked that count. There's more to baseball than scoring runs and winning. Those kind of results are easy to see as being good; only the greats can see the value in taking a called 3rd in order to show their teammates what a strike out looking looks like so they don't do it themselves.

I'm honestly disgusted at white sox fans for not understanding that leury garcia has earned this playing time through sheer grit and tenacity. Tenacity that if white sox fans had it maybe the team would be winning more games. Instead were stuck with you all who don't appreciate who are holding players like Leury back. Makes me sick to my stomach!

What question that I proposed would get access pulled?

Shane Riordan's interview with Rick Hahn
At what point is it fair to question leadership for the product on the field, given how they've clearly underperformed your expectations that you presented to fans at the beginning of the rebuild and during the most recent off-season? What do you think is the main driving factor, beyond injuries, for the team taking a significant step backwards this season; where has all the power gone? Do you believe that there needs to be some accountability for anyone in leadership for how things are unfolding? Why all of a sudden are players being activated and on the 26 man roster who are incapable of hustling without injuring themselves? Why rush unhealthy players back and risk reinjuring them?

Actually, sports media members could absolutely chose to not be the sports PR wing; there are media members who have great access and sources who light up teams, the game and leaders. They haven't lost access or anything. People in local sports media merely work in PR for the local organizations most times. Acting like it's reasonable to not put pressure on an organization in the name of "access" means ones certainly not a sports journalist.

Oscar Colas Story (Is this true?)
Yeah, I saw the screenshot posted elsewhere and was curious if anyone here had seen or heard anything since I'm not on social media and don't follow players/etc. That said, his instagram was pretty much wiped clean and all what you said was true and then he was out of the lineup. May have just been a personal tragedy that made him upset and it was unrelated to the Sox and they're giving him time away, but clearly something was up.

6/29 GT: Sox @ LAAAAAA (Kopech v. Ohtani) - let's go streaking at 8:38 PM CT
It's honestly fucking hilarious that he pinch hit for his catcher with another catcher with no one on base down 4, but he didn't pinch hit for leury with Andrew vaughn down two with men on 1st a d 3rd. You just can't make this shit up if you tried.

Yup, and they just kept swinging because when you have big sticks like leury and gavin, you can't take walks and waste hour opportunity to drive in runs.

Not an idiot, just someone who allows one output to impact his overall views which are inherently negative. We all do it at times.

Jack, you are the definition of someone who mispaints stats to represent their own narrative. Kopech curve and slider both grade as + pitches this year.

Rick hahn has become like a major political figure... "If only someone could do something about this manager and these failures. We need your help, sox fans!" Guy acts like he works in the marketing department and has not authority to do anything. Flat out hilarious.

There's so much to b**** about that is so valid, but leave it to Parkman to complain about something that isn't a concern. Kopech should have been out after 1 base runner. Nothing Tony does is right, and honestly he's been kind of unlucky because even the wrong move works a decent % of the time in baseball but Tony has managed to have all his stupidity come back to bite him.
