  1. Isn't Tatis an OF'er now? Should be asking this question about our RF'er.
  2. No catcher is an everyday player. Before this year started, no catcher played more games than Grandal between 2018-2020. So I guess no catcher is good or an everyday player. And no, I'm laughing at you comparing Grandal and Zavala at any level; using W/L record for an individual player in baseball is about as pointless as it gets. Grandal has been the toughest guy to replace on the roster. Anderson hasn't been hurt for an extended period of time, and outside of you making up a Moncada injury he also has not been hurt or out of the lineup for an extended period of time. Among Robert, Eloy and Madrigal, Grandal has been the hardest person for this team to replace and it has impacted them both defensively and offensively. Your obsession with trying to convince the world that Grandal is bad is odd, and even more odd given what we've had to watch at the position the last 6 weeks. Oh, and McCann is awful. He was benched in NY because he was poor defensively and offensively. You still stanning for him over Grandal is another joke.
  3. The White Sox were 4th in baseball in runs when Grandal went down. They're now 10th in runs in the past 30 days and you somehow cite that to glorify his absence. You can't make this shit up. Edit: Oh, and in the last thirty days they have gotten Eloy and Robert back; they were 4th in runs without those guys, because the lineup was patient (led by Yaz) and worked pitchers and counts.
  4. This post is amazing. There is literally not a single thing Seby Zavala does on a baseball field that is even 50% as good as Yasmani Grandal. Grandal has been by far the biggest loss the team has had this year. Replacing him has been a train wreck.
  5. Imagine watching what sox fans have watched the past 6 weeks and still batching about grandal. Truly amazing. And I'll take grandal over 70 games for the max next year.
  6. what? He didn't apologize for embarrassing Savala in front of cameras. He apologizes because he does something indefensible stupid and is pressed on it by the media and actually realizes it because the players were also baffled so he gives some media apology. How is him doing dumb things negative attention on a player?
  7. Nah, no apology. Kopech is young so LaRussa doesn't care if he offends him.
  8. LaRussa really still blows; that's never changed. He's still out of touch, and still apologizing in post-game conferences. Pulling Kopech was dumb but everyone knew that. At least they won.
  9. Vlad didn't know the rule. He thought the run scored because he crossed the base before he was out. At least that's how I saw that.
  10. Yeah, Tony's brilliant bullpen management has been incredibly effective this year; he's really gotten the most out of his guys!
  11. btw, i dont think Guerrero knew the rule because he looked at home and clapped like... nice, guy crossed the plate so I got the run in.
  12. Hey, based on this place and twitter you never know.. maybe that was Sox fans chanting overrated at Moncada!
  13. Sometimes McEwing makes some pretty stupid sends. That wasn't even a good throw and he was out by a mile.
  14. I think we all hate Gordon a little more than he probably deserves because of his failure to meet expectations as a player. It still feels too soon
  15. No chance you could start him in the playoffs unless he gets to top 10, obviously.
  16. lol I know you don't like Jason, and he's certainly someone that I get could rub some people the wrong way, but he's not bad at his job; especially comparatively to others in the game.
  17. Sox up 5-1 on the road vs a good team. Check into Sox talk game thread. 1. Wow, Cease gave up a HR, trash. 2. Offense has been shit 3. Benetti and Beckham are the worst thing of all time. Sums it up pretty good.
