You know...I think we played really well today It was Grossman's sixth career start It was in the Metrodome We were missing five defensive starters We have no go to WR We have a entirely new coaching staff And now we have a chance to win the game...I'm very very happy

Great Post...I laughed, I cried!!! Anywayz...I almost agree with everything you said, but I also think Crede's best value to this franchise is trade bait...Hes still 25, solid glove and a 3B with "potential". I think other teams still think hes a change of scenery player who it will click for all of a sudden once his brain catches up with his talent. I for one don't ever see that happening and if we can get a good player in return I am all for it... Plus has anyone else noticed Crede's Inability to tag out runners? I.E. last night, the time he tagged the bag and not the runner, etc, etc...He doesnt look down and just puts the glove there!! Is he really that weak minded???

Congrats to the Twins... I dont like them, but i respect how they play the game, stick up for their teammates, develop young players, and yes Ron Gardenhire can coach. Johan Santana and Brad Radke do give this team a good chance to win the ALDS and possibly make it to the world series Santana is on a streak right now that rivals almost any streak a pitcher has had in the last twenty years...He has the confidence and stuff to pitch well anywhere

The sox manage to give up homeruns to the worst player on every team....Omar Infante, Gary Mathews Jr, Julio Lugo, just add Henry Blanco to the list of horrible players taking the sox yard....(and isnt that Blanco's third or fourth against us?)

I also think it was pretty safe to say that switch hitting was also not working for him...Hes pretty much proven that hes a .220-.240 hitter with good power, now alot of you like that....who am I to judge???? But for me, he wouldve been off this team two or three years ago, I have been on his case long before I posted here.... As for better alternatives, well I never thought Carlos Guillen would have been an acceptable option but look at how good of a year he had at Detroit! Maybe I can't provide an answer but I just dont think he should have been in a sox uni in 2004. And He kills RHP.... .227 in 2004 .265 in 2003 .259 in 2002 .267 in 2001 .254 Career Oh yea hes dominant.... And his defense is far from great...if you have watched him for the last few years you would notice he is unable to make a play if hes not striding or stepping towards first on the throw, any time he is off balance or drops his arm slot and doesnt throw over the top he will throw it away...The white sox have done a good job with him by getting him to do almost a little crow hop before every throw he makes...he has improved but he is far from great, mediocre, average and satisfactory come to mind. Uribe does have an extreme uppercut swing but besides that I love everything else he does on the field...If it wasnt for all his popups he would be a great player for us, hopefully that can improve next season
