I saw something from Braves fans that he is likely never to pitch again and he's having really bad personal issues.

I'm not really worried about Eloy offensively. He's played like half the year and has 18 bombs his first sniff. He does need to polish up his approach in the offseason though a la Moncada. As soon as he stops swinging at garbage and starts working counts he's going to be dominant.

Collins is now at a 280 BA with 395 OBP. I take a 40 point drop in both of those all day with his power profile.

6 years with player option at 3 and club option at 6 for 170-180 million seems reasonable for him.

Goins has actually looked like an MLB player. Mendick and Yermin should be up though, there really is no down side.

Why do people keep thinking this? They are going to have a very young and very cheap team next year. Nova and to a lesser extent Herrera are place holders for a team that was never going to compete this year.

I feel the same way, there is absolutely no reason at all for Castillo to be on this team now. Get rid of him and get rid of Reed. Collins needs to be in the lineup consistantly.
