I'm not really worried about Eloy offensively. He's played like half the year and has 18 bombs his first sniff.
He does need to polish up his approach in the offseason though a la Moncada. As soon as he stops swinging at garbage and starts working counts he's going to be dominant.
When was the last time the Sox had this young and good of a core? I'm 30, not in my lifetime.
The Machado thing was a PR nightmare, they aren't going to come up empty handed.

They are going to have a very young and very cheap team next year. Nova and to a lesser extent Herrera are place holders for a team that was never going to compete this year.
I feel the same way, there is absolutely no reason at all for Castillo to be on this team now. Get rid of him and get rid of Reed. Collins needs to be in the lineup consistantly.
