I think we can get him, and there is no excusable reason why we can't. I would definitely appreciate it if the Yankees and Phillies went and got SP at the deadline though to lessen their chances at being serious suiters.
Well, they knew they weren't ready to compete this year. I don't really blame them for not spending money for a wasted season. They have a payroll of like 26 million next year if they keep Colome and Herrera. They have nothing but money and almost all of our core is on rookie deals.
I would say if they don't spend a bunch of money this off season you have every right to be upset. This is another rebuilding year and we got destroyed by injuries. Next year should be really interesting and I am fairly certain our roster and rotation is going to be vastly improved.
They were playing way above their skis in the first half. The run differential is putrid and they have 1.5 ML pitchers.
They also play in the worst division in baseball and are still bottom 3rd in most stats. This is a 72 or so win team. Which is actually pretty remarkable with this lineup and rotation.
Somebody just fade me, i have a fractured thumb in one hand and a torn UCL in my other thumb. I have nothing else to do all summer than watch this trash.
Danny Duffy is fucking bad and RR is worse. This team went to hot garbage in a week. I'm not having a good time and yes I realize there are 70 games left.
Baseball is baseball sometimes but letting Glenn Sparkman CGSO you after an embarassing trip to OAK there is some reason to be negative right now. This is awful baseball. Lopez looked good. That is literally the only positive over the last 5 games.
