I like Madrigal and wasn't down on him for his slow start. But he needs more ABs. If he ends the season in AAA because of his continued production I'm fine with that but he shouldn't be on the big club this year. Robert on the other hand I feel like should be up here at some point toward early August if he continues.

I would rather see Yermin up taking AB's than Reed.

I would absolutely trade him in some type of package to get a better prospect.

This. His stuff was fine to really good today. He had a really bad inning where he couldn't get a feel and a couple batters where he couldn't get a feel. If Gio is our #2 Cease would really need to also get his command in order. Either way, a rotation of Gio, Cease, Kop, FA, Lopez should be one of if not the best in the majors in a couple years. Imagine throwing a Cole or Bauer in there. It would be a better rotation imo than what Cleveland has when healthy.

I just am not ready to say Mendick is the guy without having a ML at bat. Either way whoever is at 2B next year is a stop gap for Madrigal. If we can get decent 2B play out of Leury, Yolmer, Mendick for a few months it will be fine. I'm not sure how versitle Schoop is either. If he can plug into corner OF spots I'd still want him.

I'd just like to see Mendick tbh. We have no idea what he is at the MLB level. Leury wouldn't be a terrible option at 2B but that gets rid of roster versatility with him. Yolmer has a fine glove he just can't hit.
