Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
The Marlins released Monte Harrison. He's only 26 yrs old. I'd take a flyer on that dude.

2022 MLB Draft Thread
Barco was really good again last night against one of the best offenses in the country. He's a dude. Jonathan Cannon was really good too. Dude's walked 1 guy in 41.1 IP (43 K's).

Stiever to 60 day IL; Sox Claim LHP Yoan Aybar
You have to be careful with pitchers who make massive jumps in the minor leagues. Everyone wants to think that's the pitcher they're going to be going forward but it's extremely difficult to maintain especially when they've never been that type of pitcher before. Alec Hansen is another guy who was like that.

I said they should've traded him before he got hurt.

Bernie will try to strip Anti-Trust
I'm not going to pretend I understand all the ramifications of the anti-trust but if taking it away ruins the owners day I'm down. Go Bernie Go!

Noah Schultz threw for the first time on monday. 2 IP he was 91-95 and flashed a plus slider. If he holds that all spring he's a 1st round lock.

He said "if". I refuse to believe they're that stupid.

You can have his defense and I'll take his (lack of) hitting.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
Why would a team want to option him? If they trade for him it's because they convinced themselves he's a cheap back of the rotation starter.

Schwarber to Phillies
I wanted him this off season. He's incredibly confident at the plate. His swing is locked in and he found his approach. He's going to be the second name I write in for my HR pool behind Trout.

Schwarber to Phillies
I think he's going on a run and will put up monster numbers.

Fans out there should get hazard pay.

Nope. Waiting for Hahn to close a deal like everyone else.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
I don't think they're related. I think they're waiting for the reliever market to shake out and it looks like it's finally starting to happen.

He's gone.

Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
This was always the fear with Hahn that he doesn't have the balls to make the big move to put the team over the top. It's easy to make a bad team average or an average team good but it's extremely difficult to make a good team great. Hahn seems happy to improve in the margins rather than dropping his dick on the table to make this team great. There's still a chance he does something but the longer this drags on the less optimistic I get.
