Companies usually know about the role that they are looking to fill and the skills required. People who are more skilled than others at certain jobs will typically be more likely to get hired to these positions, with the exception of the few that are great at bullshitting their way through interviews.
But this isn’t the Soviet Union and we don’t live in a communist society. No one should have to find a job for you. People are in charge of their own decisions and careers and the effort they are willing to put forth usually dictates the outcome. No one is going to do the work for you, except for a recruiter, but they get compensated for their effort. There ARE in fact jobs available for lesser skilled people but they also typically come with less pay and benefits.
I think Holt first but then probably Miller due to his defensive versatility. Miller looks like he can hit a bit with some pop as well. I wouldn’t be upset with either guy and they are definitely the most “utility” of the guys in the list.

“Kipnis -- who was also in contact with the White Sox and A's this offseason -- will have an opportunity to compete for the Cubs' opening at second base, or at least to be a part of a timeshare.”
Not big news at all but it may indicate that Hahn is still looking for a veteran backup infielder on a cheap deal. Here are the leftovers:
Brian Dozier
Scooter Gennett
Brock Holt
Brad Miller (signed a 1-year MLB deal with Cardinals on 2/12)
Ben Zobrist (likely retiring, per Jon Heyman on 2/12)
No, but he may be a viable fourth outfielder or more that could replace Joc and his $7.75 million dollars. The Dodgers still have Betts, Bellinger, Pollock, and Taylor all capable of playing the outfield outside of Joc.
The Dodgers reacquired 25 year old OF prospect Luke Raley from the Twins as a part of the Maeda for Graterol swap.
Raley was a former Dodgers prospect who was traded to the Twins in the Brian Dozier trade at the deadline in 2018. Raley is a lefty bat that plays the entire outfield and a little 1B.
It’s pretty obvious that Joc is on his way out.
One big problem was the disparity in QB talent. Cardale Jones looked good and McGloin looked decent but then you have a guy like Aaron Murray who didn’t look like he belonged on a football field at any level.
The Giants recent signings of Pence and Hamilton have likely ended their interest in Puig, but I agree that the Cardinals and Rays would still make sense.
