This is a dumb move, as someone else said I rather have Walker this season in RF than Mazara!

I hope it's not Walker, his K to BB is excellent... He may be a very good hitter... If I were the Sox I would have rather signed Matt Duffy and there him in RF.

Like everyone said, it depends who we give up. Straight up for Fulmer and either Basabe, Adolfo, or Rutherford(which I hope not) may be a fair deal. But even so like I said, we have this player in our minor league system, Rutherford may be able to duplicate Mazara.

We have this player Mazara in our minor league system already, why trade for him. Over 100 plus ks and 30 bb every season, this is an easy player to find.

He is declining and even in his best season (2012) he had 126 k's to 34 bb.

It matters that we always do our best every game. Last season there were so many on this board who would rather lose(which in my opinion is cheating) to get a better draft pick instead of instilling an attitude of trying to win every game. If we lose the division by 2 or 3 games and didnt start off well because we didnt put our best out there, then it will be our fault.

If Madrigal has a good spring they should bring him up on game #1. We want to win games, not worry about control and $.

Castellanos a better hitter than Ozuna but not by much. Ozuna a better fielder but not by much. In this case we have to go with the better clubhouse presence, the player that can add chemistry and love to this team.

If we are clever and wise we could find an Ozuna in our minor league systems.

Ozuna is worth 9 mil per year..if we are spending 20 mil per year we mine as well well sign Rendon.

Ozuna is an ok signing. What I would do: Trade Reynaldo Lopez, Collins, and Basabi for Benintendi. Sign Rendon. Sign Keuchel.

Yea and Dickerson & Santana is going to be 3mil for the same or probably better production at the plate as Marte at 12 mil. Yes Castellanos is interesting but will be at high price.

The only guys I like left on that free agent OF market are Corey Dickerson and Domingo Santana. If we are feeling froggy we should leap and trade for Benintendi or sign Rendon and move Moncada to RF.
