The WMU campus is beautiful now - they have done a lot of building and work o it - you should see Waldo - the sports and athletic facilities are outstanding for a school of that size and the programs in aviation and business are really top level. I love Kazoo - gotta get back!

Ride em Broncos! I am ne of GR right now but aching to return to kazoo - when did you graduate? If you were there 95-96 I may have sold you your Jimmy John's - if you were there before 94 you probably have no idea what Jimmy Johns' is - I lived in Vine and that is where I am returning, in the shadows of East Campus

living in Michigan, my first thought was Fidrych died -
  9. I dislike movng Frank. I could move PK the way he is playing. For the rest of your proposal, interesting and I shall reflect on it.
  10. I have buried people on all sides of that one - and done pastoral counselng with people on all sides of that one - it is a horrible problem and too many think it is funny or amusing.
  11. but he makes up for it with sheer talent, energy, and heart! baggio is a good guy, shouldn't be rapping on him, serioudly, but what the hell - sorry bud!
  12. with no statistical evidence, I would think you are right, the rate of incidents seem to be increasing - and alcohol is oftem a factor in a cou8nty in SW Michigan we had a judge drive his car into the bar, and then drive off. That he was a judge may explain wy he was recognised - he claimed that he did not leave the scene, he merely went looking for the bar's owner - and that when the cops found him at his home 1.5 hour later, his blood alcohol level was becuase he had a few drinks afterwards, he had not been drinking until he got and no alcoholo in his system when he hit the bar and drove off.... wonder if he'd buy that story as a judge from a defendant?
  13. only buy him one or he follows you home!
  14. last week hit and run by my father's house, where I grew up, at Fletcher and Lavergne - 3150 N and 5000 W, just a tab over from the SCR and WRT's studio. they happen all over.
  15. thread title: I want to kill Frank Thomas? The language unsettles me. Can't we express anger or frustration or whatever with threats to life? I know you well buddy and know you didn't mean it that way but I am just uncomfortable with it. Call him an asshole, call his a dumb f***, whatever, but language involving killing always disconcerts me.

  18. I think the term "fiasco" is a wee bit of a massive overstatement about the legitimate woes that we have had, expecially since we have seen some good too from the pen
  19. with the USCF deal came an extension in the Sox lease for another, what, 15 years which comits them to 2023 or something like that - my numbers be a year or so off - that was the best part of the deal for me - the Sox ain't moving. I have been through that too many times in my life... you young guys don't remember the fears of losing the Sox that we had in the 70s and up until JR bought the team - as much as JR gets bashed, he solidified the team in Chicago and he has set it up for them to be here long after he is gone - he deserves thanks for that - and actuarial tables tll us that JR has maybe 5 good years tops as chairman before age catches up to him -
  20. I hope to be Foulkless the entire series - he does not need in to protect a lead or tie since we will already be ahead, and hopefully by a KochProof® margin. Now as he comes in when the As are behind, then we can rock him -
  21. I have to be in my seats for the Home Run of the Century or I am very unhappy and not fit to be around ...

not a good comparison, my friend. There is no reason to kill a living creature just for the hell of it. An intentional attack is unexcusable on this large beautiful bird that does no one no harm and is part of the world in which we inhabit. People who are cruel to animals usually have other problems and it surely says something about character. Respect for life includes all life. This bird was not killed to feed a hungry person. It was killed for the hell of it, because someone could. And that is despicable.
  24. then do yoga, pilates, and step aerobics like I do - really helps when you want to shake it shake it shake, shake it shake it shake, shake your booty -
