QUOTE(Steff @ Nov 7, 2006 -> 09:41 AM) So.. we went to this Briggs for Kids event last night at Lucky Strike. Dennis McKinnon was our partner. Still in good shape. Hysterical, too. The biggest a-hole... Urlacher hands down. Bowled 2 frames then left his team. Most uncomfortable moment... the DJ played "Golddigger"... imagine a few hundred white folks with the deer in the head lights look all at the same time. I'm torn on this. By Briggs, I assume you mean Lance Briggs. That said, if it was the offseason, I would of seen why people would be upset Urlacher left like that. But it is the middle of the season, he is beat up and hurt, and any rest time is rare for these guys. Hwould of been better off not showing at all if he was gonna upset people by leaving like that.

Does Art Shell ever talk into his headset? Everytime they show him, he is just standing there. I kinda feel bad for him, no win situation.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 6, 2006 -> 09:32 PM) He's definitely talented enough. He needs to be more aggressive though. Did you see any of the Henderson game? I just read the article. Sound slike defense was good but only scoring 61 irks me.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Nov 6, 2006 -> 09:17 PM) Carlos Arroyo = one of the best, if not the best backup PG in the league today. Arroyo was bearking out in Utah and didn't he have a bad relationship with Sloan? Than in Detroit he never had a chance with all that talent in front of him.

I remember when I was a kid and when Survivor Series came around, I anticipated the teams they would put together, now we are lucky to get one elimination tag match. With all the guys they have, they should go back the old way of having 4 on 4 matches and one World Championship match or 2.

QUOTE(soxsr08 @ Nov 6, 2006 -> 03:23 PM) So does anyone believe the Celtics can pull it off against ESL? I for one do. I've seen video of ESL and they are fast on tape, can't imagine how fast they are in person. Good Luck.

Saw Borat last night. First 40-45 minutes were funny, than it got old and repetitive. Could of done without the "fight scene", but did laugh at the encounter with CJ. All in all, eh.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Nov 2, 2006 -> 02:30 PM) Quick question, where can I go to get the original episodes or would it be okay if I started watching from this point forward (I assume this is one of those shows where you need to see the episodes though). NBC.com has archived their shows this year on their website. I missed two Friday Night Lights and got caught up that way. They have all the episodes of Heroes on there as well.

I am coming to the realization that Chad Johnson maybe overrated. he runs his mouth and delivers pretty much 1 out of every 3 or 4 weeks. He has talent, no doubt, but just not putting up number of a year or so ago. May have something to do with Palmer being off as well.

Don't count WWS out. LWE has had trouble scoring this year, but their defense is tough. I would think Wheaton Warrenville South would be the best 8A match up.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 1, 2006 -> 02:31 PM) I hate both of you so much. I smell tag team death match. Rowand/Brian vs. SnB/Krush! Carbondale vs. Champaign! QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 1, 2006 -> 04:05 PM) Josh Bone our one incoming freshman this season is out 4-6 weeks now. That to go along with Chris Cornelius being out for the season and we've lost a bit of the great depth it looked like we were going to have. Hopefully Bone can come back healthy and be able to contribute but for the mean time we'll still be fine just with less depth than before. What? Why? I'm hoping the student section starts bring big fake bones to games when he gets good!
