With regards to the article, this is about the most sense Mary Mitchell has ever made. I almost fell out of my chair when I read it. She was also on ABC World News last week for about 30 seconds. They only focused on her comments about him not accepting guilt or responsibility... From reading Soxy's joke in the other thread it got me thinking. Most kids I know in late grammer school or high school are against Bush. Why do you think this is? I know my brother-in-law, always says things like Bush is an idiot. Bush will screw it up....blah blah blah. Bush lies about everything. He is 18 years old and just started college. He never ever watches the news, reads the paper or looks at anything on the internet other than sports. So how did he get this attitude? My in laws aren't really into politics, so it's not like they sit around discussing things at the table. I'm guessing he gets it from his teachers and I'm guessing for him to have such animosity they weren't just teaching and letting the kids decide, they were imposing their opinions. Right? Wrong? Does anyone know any teenagers that embrace conservatism without conservative parents?

I'm very happily married. I want to grow old with my wife. Raise our children together. Experience the different facets of life together. I wouldn't have it any other way. I know that's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's definitely mine.

Coulter can make some good points when she doesn't let her smart ass and degrading comments in the way. I liken her to Bill Maher. They may have some good points for their sides of the spectrums, but their delivery is offensive and over shadows their points the majority of the time.

On the issue of national defense, according to a poll Russert cited, Americans trust Republicans 43% to 22%. On the War on Terror, Americans trust Republicans 35% to 26%. Confronted with those numbers, Dean clearly had to make a choice. He could try to change the perception of the Democrat Party, or he could try to convince Americans that retreat is preferable to continued fighting. With his statement this week, Dean has made his choice.
