This team continues to show its inability to simply do the little things it takes to win a baseball game, zero baseball instincts

Tip of the hat to Cle, who have a real manager leading a bunch of hungry baseballers that pounded the damn Twins and us when it counted the most. A giant FU to the WSox front office for not strengthening this team in the offseason nor having the balls to tell their aging owner that baseball is not a confessional booth for past sins.

I cant disagree, in almost the same exact moment, our catcher flies out meekly with the tying runners on and the Guardians’ best player homers in a tied ballgame late. The baseball gods have clearly spoken 😔

Watching these Bears play fundamentally sound defense and an offensive coordinator playing to his younger QB’s strengths in the preseason has been refreshing. Hell, I just thought getting the damn play called with more than 10 secs would have been enuff! 😂

Some great moments this year, Sheets’ game winner HR against the damn Twins, Billy’s awesome catch with my son and I in the stands in a rainy Minnesota, Rodon’s no no, the Field of Dreams walk off, the frenzied playoff crowds in Gms 3-4, some great stuff that happened in ‘21.

What wasn’t embarrassing was the crowd, you guys kept trying to get the Sox going so kudos!

WSox pitching was the biggest disappointment in this series. The positioning/lack of hits with runners in scoring didn’t help but all the walks were just killers

One run wasn’t gonna cut it anyway so limit the damage here and get to work on McCullers again

The Astros refuse to pitch any fastballs to Grandal still, they’re just not gonna let him work counts and draw either the walk or the dinger
