  1. Some outtakes http://click.mlb.com/ct/click?q=e6-qG~rQwy...rn74cmx6N07vsRR http://click.mlb.com/ct/click?q=3a-QAxgIrz...ygX0svQqAsPc9RR http://click.mlb.com/ct/click?q=8e-Ve8cQCn...iMKyc~PD0_TWdRR http://click.mlb.com/ct/click?q=e2-J1DpQhy...DNnc3IUditS9sRR http://click.mlb.com/ct/click?q=60-oqKtIsE...k20cmAleSAlWdRR I had to "copy link location" and then paste it in WMP under Open URL.
  2. QUOTE(bulokis @ May 25, 2005 -> 03:57 PM) Wasnt Santana a Rule V draft by the Twinks? The Fish actually.
  3. QUOTE(beck72 @ May 25, 2005 -> 01:29 PM) BTW, didn't Bronson Arroyo do pretty well in the Red sox pen last year, and it didn't hurt his development as a SP? I don't think comparing a BMac with a 27 year old ex-prospect helps your case any.
  4. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ May 25, 2005 -> 01:22 PM) They changed it. I've still seen holds awarded for terribly pitched situations like .1 IP 3 hits 2ER, I think. Anyone have a definition of a hold? You enter in a save situation. record an out. Leave in a save situation. = hold.
  5. QUOTE(Cubs Suck23 @ May 25, 2005 -> 01:07 PM) When did they start putting numbers on the jerseys The yankees were the first team to put numbers on jerseys... Regulars numbers corresponed with thier position. That's why all of the The yankees retired numbers seem so low.
  6. The only run Fatolo allowed last night was while the Carls Jr sign was on the rotating billboard behind home plate. Anyone think he was distracted?
  7. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ May 24, 2005 -> 07:38 PM) FireWorks.... Westbrook = He Gawn Or not -- I had the game running in the background.... The announcers said " that was a good pitch by westbrook, and he's been ejected" -- Be careful with your pronouns boys.
  8. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 24, 2005 -> 07:29 PM) Some old threads disappear. Like that one I searched for about 40 minutes to find. I know I bumped it a few times last season, so I can't even go back to around spring training and look for it... It's all text based searches.
  9. Well at least I don't feel stupid for not being able to find that Freakin' hilarious Fatolo thread.
  10. Crede doesn't even lead the team in disgusted bat flips anymore. Crede. No Soup for you!
  11. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ May 24, 2005 -> 03:31 PM) I disagree. He loves this team and he wants to stay here. Have you noticed during the games that when he would wave and miss at a fastball he'd grimace a little and then look at his right hand? He did that several times during last nights game and it leads me to believe something is, as was suggested in this thread, bothering him injury wise. I was gonna say the same thing Nuke. He's brought his right had off of the bat a number of times while swinging left handed. It looks like his lead wrist is bothering him. it doesn't seem to be buggin him while he's hitting right handed, hence the bizzare splits this year.
  12. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ May 24, 2005 -> 01:42 PM) Somebody needs to bump the thread full of photoshops of Bartolo chasing food from last spring training. OK 20 minutes of searching and I give up.... That thread was classic.
  13. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ May 24, 2005 -> 01:33 PM) .......it surprises me that no one has put the clip up on this board yet as I'm sure it's all over the net. http://www.carlsjr.com/home -- Just wait --- There's an extended feature you can watch too.. I just hope that the Carls Jr. rotating sign is in heavy rotation during the game tonight. Fatolo will probably get hungry and distracted. Direct link -- http://www.spicyparis.com/paris.html
  14. Somebody needs to bump the thread full of photoshops of Bartolo chasing food from last spring training.
  15. Just to save you guys time... This thread will now debate the term "Ace" for the next 4-6 pages.
  16. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ May 24, 2005 -> 01:32 AM) Timo is hitting 200 in May You say that like it's a bad thing.... That's actually an improvement.
  17. I wonder how many 94 MPH fastballs with late breaking movement Nuke has hit. Let alone one that was spotted like Santana was last night.
  18. QUOTE(tempe85 @ May 24, 2005 -> 12:18 AM) I am an Angels fan but don't worry I don't plan to cause a rukus Anyways I think it was just a combination of him being really good and that no one knows anything about him in the majors (no scouting reports) which allowed him to have a really good game. Jason is a Angels season tix holder, so it's not like you're not welcome around here... The scouting report thing is exactly what I was going to say. Actually I was going to wait until the morning and just agree with JimH when he said it. The advance scouts for this team either don't exist, or spend a lot of time scouting which minor league stadium has the best concession stands. No doubt Santana looked great tonight, but our hitters looked like they watched a 1 minute video of Santana allowing the Cycle to the first 4 batters he faced, and they were like "yeah, we've got this"
  19. QUOTE(Steff @ May 23, 2005 -> 10:24 AM) We drove to Boulder a few years ago and it took 10 hours just to get there (overnight driving).. Denver is only about an hour further.. but just in case maybe plan the drive with a bit of extra driving time in case you need it. Have fun. I don't know what speed you were driving, but it took me almost 16 straight-thru Chicago to Fort Collins. 10 is definitely illegally fast. Considering it took almost 8 hours for me to get across just Nebraska. (that state never ends.)
  20. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 23, 2005 -> 03:15 PM) Didn't his name used to be Johan, but he changed it because of the other Johan? IIRC thats what BBTN said. JOhan was revealed to not be his given name in an agegate scandal.. He's actually a few months older than the other Johan
  21. This isn't a baseball move so much as it's a PR move... He's pissed the fans off to no end the past week, culminating in flipping some fans off yesterday.
