  1. Munoz got the Start for BMAC..... He's comin to the show
  2. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 20, 2005 -> 05:59 PM) If we were gonna bring up anyone for long relief, it could always be Diaz. He's already on the 40-man, pitched in the big leagues and could start or bullpen, so you know he could do long relief and mopup. I would prefer diaz on the roster, assuming he's healthy, if we're going to carry 12... Send one of Cotts/Walker packing.
  3. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ May 20, 2005 -> 05:45 PM) With him its always just a matter of time before he wears out his welcome. Its too bad because the guy has a lot of talent. Yeah it's pretty hard for them not to play Freel when he's out there busting his ass every time they give him a chance, and D'angelo is sleepwalking his way through games
  4. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 20, 2005 -> 04:22 PM) I loved the Paulie chants that went on in the AB where he had the RBI single. Hell I heard more Sox chants than Cub chants today. It pumped me up. One of the Pauly, Pauly, Pauly chants was a Bronx cheer of sorts after he struck out.
  5. This thread is not as gay as you think it is... And normally I wouldn't be defending this, but Bruce Levine just said there are rumors floating around that McCarthy may be up for Sunday's game.... TIFWIW
  6. Jimenez wore out his welcome in the last few days in Cincy
  7. Yeah this team is just dragging down our Strentgh of Schedule... Mariotti just has more fuel for his fire.
  8. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 20, 2005 -> 03:50 AM) 50 K's in 160 official ABs. Ouch! 56% of hits for extra bases... :drooling smiley
  9. QUOTE(chisoxfan79 @ May 19, 2005 -> 07:35 PM) I guarantee tomorrow that Timo Perez will be in the lineup because he has a good history against Maddux. I just got off the phone with my good friend timo, and he said that he's not sniffing the outfield this weekend.
  10. Buehrle was Pitcher of the Month in May last year too. He pitched a couple of 0ER games at home that month. He had an excellent ERA at home at that point if you just subtract that 1st inning vs. the Yankees last april.
  11. QUOTE(Nokona @ May 18, 2005 -> 06:26 PM) They also did some outtakes from the new commercials. Did anyone catch when they'll be airing? Monday
  12. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ May 17, 2005 -> 09:31 PM) Jon Garland = best pitcher in baseball for a few hours. D-Train's given up 4 in the first.
  13. 4 threads. That's what happens when Hermy takes his sweet f***ing time.
  14. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 17, 2005 -> 08:28 PM) 1 run game, 2nd and 3rd no outs. Yep, big inning. Nope... Jon F'n Garland
  15. QUOTE(Texsox @ May 17, 2005 -> 05:41 PM) When I visit Cooperstown, and relive baseball history through the players, I want to see and read about Maris. For that reason, he should be in. I always look beyond career stats. Santo should be in also. When Sox fans agree, you know he must be deserving. Santo is much more deserving than Maris. Somebody else said it earlier. I haven't ever been to Cooperstown, so I don't know. But they should have a bat or a jersey or the ball from #61. However Maris should never be enshrined.
  16. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 17, 2005 -> 08:11 PM) Aaron misses the ball.....almost stole a HR but it came off ARows glove. Nix to 3rd. No, he almost Canseco'd that ball into a HR. That's a play he's got to make.
  17. The real loss isn't Scheyer. It's the perception of losing the states best player after a magical season. That's not even mentioning that he was coached by Weber's brother. It just looks bad.
  18. Round 1 goes to Hidalgo... batting 500 with 2 BBs
  19. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 16, 2005 -> 08:45 PM) Mejor props to Vizcaino tonight. Bailed us out a little bit on a night where Orlando didn't have it. He should be done... I have a feeling that Ozzie's going to run him back out there for one too many though.
