Count me as one who thinks there needs to be some reshuffling with maggs gone. If you have Frank in the #3 and Lee in the #4 we have a problem. It's been demonstrated already. Lee is batting .129 w/ 2out, RISP. How often is he going to be comenig up with 2 out and a man on second or third in the 1st inning? A lot. Lee should either bat third, where he's thrived before. Or hit 5th behind Konerko/Valentin, Depending on the pitcher. Konerko's hitting .381 w/ 2out RISP. His OBP is great this year. and he's hitting at the same rate as lee, except with power. (11 HR to 4)

OK -- I didn't like that post -- so heres some slightly more encouraging stats. the sox were 15-12 in may. while recieving limited power from the outfield. Maggs 1HR Carlos 0 Rowand 2 Gload 2 Timo 1

I hate to point this out, but without maggs, we have one of the weakest slugging outfields in baseball. Carlos (4) Willie (0) Rowand (4) Gload (2) Timo (1) -- That means the most HR's we can put in the outfield on a given night is 10. Ouch

5/10 first half -- I hate spelling names. 7/10 on the second half -- I thought that was decent.

To expand further on both of our posts... 5th starter will need to make 8 starts pre- ASB there's 77 games after the ASB, with only 4 off days. Skipping the 5th whenever possible makes 13, 12 if you pitch someone on 3 days rest to end the season. 15 would be the most likely scenario, with a top of the rotation type of guy, and every one pitching an equal # of games. So from june 12th- October 3rd, the sox will need between 20 and 23 starts out of the 5th starter. Rain outs/double headers could call for more starts.

The 5th starter will need to make 4 starts before July 1 (KW's date for the trades last season). 5 starts before the ASB. and 8 starts before the trade deadline.

That statement is completely false. Homosexuals refers to both gay males and Lesbians. you have no data to support your claim for females. And until you prove other wise, you're simply manipulating statistics to support your claim.
