I don't see how Michigan, the staff/ AD department and fans, can stand to keep that guy around. I think it is clear that they don't have an upper echelon coach to go along with thier upper echelon talent. Tressel, Ferentz, Tiller(who i've never liked) and maybe even Alvarez, consistently get more from less. And that's just coaches in the conference. Look at Nebraska, they aren't going to stand around and watch as a coach buries them in mediocrity. I don't know exactly WHAT thier plan is, but they're not going to sit by and let everything be status quo. Michigan came into the season with National Title hopes. They've been out of the National title hunt since September. That to me is a failed season. Sure they salvaged a win vs. Ohio St and are ranked 4th in the country... It's MICHIGAN FOOTBALL 4th in the country, when you have #1 or 2 talent shouldn't be accepted. Just ask yourself this question. Who would win if they played, this years Michigan or last years NATIONAL CHAMPION Ohio St. I'd say Michigan. And the fact that They're not playing for it this year I think should cost someone his job. It amazes me that I've written this much about Michigan football. I think it's just because I'm a casual fan, more of an overall Big Ten fan, and it seems obvios to me. I'm going to leave and drop this subject now. I know Carr will be back. I tried to read that book "Stupid White Men" it's called, a few month ago. I could see where it would be funny. But the way it was written, Pre-9/11, and the way I was reading it, a couple of years later, made the humor and arguments seem petty and whining. Although most of his points were valid, it was like showing up to a gun fight with a watergun, It was hard to see why I should care about some of his points when there was clearly bigger fish to fry. That being said, I think I would hhave enjoyed the book pre-9/11 and I intend to read his new one as soon as my brother finishes it.

@ 5MIL a year Cameron is a steal. I'd love to see him here for that. Unfortunatley, I don't see that happening, he's probably looking a 7-8 MIL/year. (just my guess)

Michigan had a 2 touchdown LEAD in the Iowa game.... And was never behind far enough to completely abandon the run like they did in the Oregon Game, for the most part they had tons of time left... Behind only a touchdown and they were in the shotgun throwin on every down... Carr didn't play those games to win, he was just HOPING not to lose. He cost his team a shot at the national title. This team scored 27 points in it's two losses, allowing 30 and 31, that's a total of 7 points . If they could execute a punt they'd be playing for a national title. That falls squarely on the coaching staff. I can't believe I haven't heard about Carr's name on the choping block. I'm not a fan of Carr if you couldn't tell. I'm actually not a Michigan fan, but if I was I'd have sent him mail bombs. The same thing with Cooper at Ohio St a few year ago. He made Jessica Simpson look like a genius every Michigan game. He just gave it up whether he had better talent or not.

Anyone who watched alot of Michigan games this year, has to realize what an IDOIT Lloyd Carr was for only handing Perry the ball 35 times in those two losses. That's the reason you lost, you NIMROD!!!! Oh and for Hiesman, I think it should have been Perry if he had a coach with half a brain. But He'll finish 3rd or fourth i think. White wins, Fitgerald and Manning fight for second.

Ahh the smell is the only reason to get a real tree. there's just no substitution for that smell. And i tried decorating my tree one year with tree "ornaments" I picked up at Trak Auto. It Smelled, not the same.

i don't see him as a Billy Beane-type he strikes out alot, unless he's playing the sox, or facing jim parque. He doesn't have that high of a OBP. Plus he made 7.4 MIL last year. That's a really cool story, about a truly unique man. I can understand how you'd go mad in one of those places. And the longest I've ever been stuck in an airport was 5 hours once in Denver.

Real --- I love a good fire hazard around the house. seriously though I really hate this time of year.... I don't catch the christmas spirit until maybe the 23rd, and it's usually gone before christmas eve is over. This may help me this year.
