either its just really old or there's a magnetic field present. I really f***ed up a friends computer monitor by putting a magnet too close to it. Other things that can be the culprit: VCR, in college i had a cheap vcr too close to my tv it started to f*** with the color on the right side; Reciever, same as the VCR; Speakers, speakers have big magnets in them; Anything that puts out an electric field. Monitors have a permanent magnetic charge to them any change to that charge can mess with the picture quality. The fix, if what I highlighted is, in fact, wrong with your tv, is pretty simple. All you need to do is go to a radioshack and ask for a demagnetizer. Set you back about 30 bones but well worth it. Even if it works you can take it back and tell them that it didn't.

Agreed... I cringed watching him say that. While I thinkeveryone needs to be on won page. And the manager has to have the say in the clubhouse. That was not the best way to introduce yourself to a new team... That being said i think frank will come in this year with a good attitude, along with Ozzie, and it will be contagious. The Sox will actually get out to a fast start and be able to carry some momentum into our usually good second half.

If Magglio does indeed get moved. I think you will see Mr. Reed roaming our outfield. I, for one, am not disappointed by that thought.

I don't want to be hated. If at all possible, I'd like to retain the minimal chance of being friends. Ignoring her won't accomplish that. Not completely ingoring. It's called "intermitent reward". It's science. If a monkey learns that he can press a button and get a bannana, he'll press the button like crazy at first. But when he learns that a banana is coming every time he pushes the button, He only pushes it when he wants a banana. Conversly, if a monkey pushes a different button and sporadically get a reward, at undeterminable intervals, he will continually press the button. So you are asking yourself how does this apply to me. The girl is the monkey. You are the button. When she pushes you, be unpredictable. This is the difficult part. Sometimes you have to act like you really wanna see her, other times like you are just too busy for her. She'll keep at it. You'll remain friends, maybe more. Make sure you always have the upper hand and you won't need to get rid of her. Before you know it you'll have a bunch of monkeys asking for your banana.

I'm with Rafcosta, ignoring the situation works. Gain the upper hand in the relationship. See her only when you want to. Only call if you want "something." Don't answer her calls. Caller ID is a great thing. Be seen with another woman.

During the third quarter of the first game I was wondering how we got stuck with Cartwright as our coach, and how long he should last. Isaid fire him in after the 3rd quarter.
