  1. A lot on Grifol and culture, but Grifol walked into a s%*# show of Hahn's making. The roster issues will never be resolved until Hahn is gone, and a competent GM is brought in to take a few seasons to assess what they have and begin building an organization from A ball to the ML club.
  2. People keep saying this, but Jerry also hired Kenny, Schueler and Himes. All three were light years ahead of Hahn. Rick Hahn is 2-7 off-suit, the nut low.
  3. Chuck needs to go as well. Ditto camera facing person on their television broadcasts.
  4. We are on the 88th page of this thread, and #88 Luis Robert Jr. was injured in the Home Run Derby. Coincidence, I think not. Fire Rick Hahn. PS - Rick has a lead on the next White Sox manager. https://www.audacy.com/670thescore/sports/sources-northwestern-baseball-accused-of-toxic-culture
  5. Jerry gets his $100M revenue sharing checks each year, doesn't care.
  6. This. Haven't heard of his charity work either, though I'm glad he did it. Teams request players to perform charity. community and commercial events pimping White Sox sponsors as a standard course of business. To read anything negative into the efforts of Lucas, Tim or others reflects poorly on those taking pot shots to criticize players they do not like / hate.
  7. Even bigger contrast between Anderson and Clevinger. Anderson is doing the right thing, taking care of the child financially, saying he is also a part of his life. Meanwhile Clevinger allegedly did not pay/withheld child support, was accused of beating the child's mother and spitting tobacco in his child's face, confiscating the child's documents, and engaging in other forms of abuse. People have either said nothing or were adamant "he is innocent based on MLB sham investigated primarily to protect the interests of ownership (do you want to honor the contract, is this case bad PR for the team, etc.)..
  8. Pretty sure Jerry only spent money the past two seasons to placate Tony, also because he banked so much over the years, including screwing players out of 2/3 of their wages in 2020 and claiming he lost a billion or whatever bullshit he was spewing at the time.
  9. Plus he challenged Roberto Perez to a fight after sprinting onto the field, shoving him and then yelling at him. La Russa would kick Rick Hahn's ass every single day of the year since the day Rick Hahn was born.
  10. Pretty sure this is the poop thread.
  11. 2025: Kopech 90 Innings + Crochet 45 Innings + Grant Taylor 60 innings = One MLB Starting Pitcher.
  12. White Sox seasons 16 + games under .500 at the All Star Break (July 9 for non All Star Game Seasons) Rick Hahn (10* 2013 - TBD) 2023 -16 38-54 (TBD) 2018 -29 33-62 (-38 62-100) 2013 -18 37-55 (-36 63-99) Ron Schueler (10 1991-2000) 1998 -16 35-51 (-2 80-82) Larry Himes (4 1987-1990) 1989 -24 32-56 (-23 69-92) 1987 -17 34-51 (-8 77-85) Ed Short (10 1961-1970) 1970 -27 31-58 (-50 56-106) 1969 -16 40-56 (-26 68-94) Leslie O'Connor (3 1946-1948) 1948 -26 23-49 (-50 51-101) Harry Grabiner (31 1915-1945) 1934 -26 25-51 (-46 53-99) 1932 -20 28-48 (-53 49-102) 1931 -19 28-47 (-41 56-97) 1930 -16 29-45 (-30 62-92) 1929 -23 28-51 (-34 59-93) Note *: 2020 owner cancelled season (102 of 162 games) not included.
  13. https://lsutigerswire.usatoday.com/2023/07/09/lsu-baseball-grant-taylor-chicago-white-sox-mlb-draft-second-round/ Can't have enough injured pitching in your rotation. Thinking Jerry wants to pocket the money with Grant returning to LSU, because that is how Jerry rolls.

  16. All the Cardinales say, they could have won this any day They only let it slip away, out of kindness, I suppose.
  17. Got to love the Remillard, Robert, Sheets defensive alignment.
  18. The Sox literally have no bench left to PH (walk), pinch run (Grandal Walk) and pinch hit / reach on an error (Perez for Zavala). If anyone gets injured, a pitcher needs to hit and field a position, with at least two innings to go.
  19. Let Colas hit against a left handed pitcher you dumb ass. These games are all Spring Training at this point.
  20. "The White Sox have not taken a walk since Friday." - Len Kasper Two more WTF at bats. Eloy Jimenez https://www.mlb.com/gameday/717424/play/45 Andrew Vaughn https://www.mlb.com/gameday/717424/play/46
