  1. That was hysterical. The intro was really long but it was worth it.
  2. I just got back from seeing it about an hour ago. I don't want to over talk it 'cause that can spoit it for people but I really enjoyed it. And I wasn't so hot on the second one. I think the bad reviews are way over done.
  3. How about some RSS feeds for the board. One for the most recent posts overall, one for each of the boards, maybe even a feed for each thread so you could subscribe to threads of particular interest.
  4. Dude, what the hell is "the cheat." (Sorry for going off topic on your thread soxrus) Is this some cartoon character popular in Australia......I never heard of it before but always seen it in your avatar/sig. Duh!

I'm of the school that says save the ring for the engagement. Get her a nice set of earrings or something.
  6. Happy Birthday
  7. I totally get you. I know they are 2 different things. I'm agnostic, and not really a fan of organized religion, especially people who try to preach it to me when I don't want any part of it (not that I'm saying you're doing that) I don't care if you are religious, just don't look down on me with a holier than thou attitude, or with pity because I'm not. That's what irks me. I hear ya. I think those people are in for a suprise when they make it to the other side.

    Corg, awesome post.
  9. That's how I feel too. I don't own one and won't until I feel I need to. I like knowing that I can though and I won't be happy when sombody says I can't.
  10. I don't know about all that. I've been where you are in terms of religion. There are still plenty of people who hold themselves out as religious that I absolutely hate. God and religion are not one and the same, in fact they are often quite opposite in my opinion. God is not incompatible with fun or metal music or lots of other things that get Pat Robertson riled up either. I'm not trying to preach to you. I just hope that if you are going to have an opinion about God that you would go and look into it yourself and not take what you get from some TV shylock or Sunday church hypocrite as all there is.
  11. Yea, the Strong Sad pumpkin definetly turned out the best. For some reason he has become one of my favorites. As far as POD... I like the new song and didn't think it had too much of a rap core feel to it. Everything I've heard is that the new album isn't just a repackaged version of the last one. It is supposed to have a different sound to it. I am very hopeful that it will be good, as I'm sure you've already noticed. Then again I liked the last couple of albums (ok I'm old, CDs - whatever). Then again again (... umm, whatever to that too) I don't count the christian thing as an instant turn off.
  12. I finished carving my Homestar and Strong Sad pumpkins several hours ago now. I'll try to get some picture up eventually. They turned out pretty good if I do say so myself.
  13. I missed the Poopsmith easter egg the first time. Homesar as Slash is hysterical. Who is Poopsmith dressed as? I've never heard of M. Bison.
  14. I like Strong Sad as David Byrne too. The costume itself wasn't that great but I just think the idea of Strong Sad dressing up as David Byrne is funny. Bubbs as Mel was pretty good too. So I found the easter egg when Coach Z and Bubbs are at the door and I found the candy corn easter egg at the end too. Were there any others I missed?

Steff, all due respect but that is th biggest load of buffalo dung I've ever smelled. Sure people have been banned there because they get out of hand but plenty of people have been banned there simply because the mods and powers that be decided they wanted to, nothing more. Still pleny of other people like me left of their own free will because of the pompous boys club atmosphere that is perpetuated over there.

Welcome back. I don't think most people ever questioned what the truth what or where the trouble was coming from.

Capn so true, like I say there are 10 kinds of people in this world, those that understand binary and those that don't. I have a shirt that says that.

So, by that thought, I can be the biggest jagoff (cheap, mean, nasty etc.), but as but as long as I go to Church and say 'Yay God" I am okay. Not trying to be a smartass, that is something that I never understood that the Catholic church seems to push - go to church, give us money and we'll pretend the rest never happened. That is one of the very very very big misperceptions that is perpetuated by today's church. Worshipping God does NOT equal going to church. Attending church is meaningless unless it is a part of the life of a christian. There are a lot of people who attend church every Sunday who, according to the Bible, will end up in the same place as people who lead overtly "evil" lives. Mmm hmm.
  25. What I heard on WGN was not that they were changing the slope of the remaining seats just loping off the top most rows of seats, which they said had a steeper incline than the rest.
