  1. An average player could get under the radar screen and move on, but it is more difficult for high profile star, who is being promoted as a family man, example to the community and to be the face of baseball.
  2. Cesar has become a slap hitter with no power in his swing. Who/where is our hitting coach?
  3. This bad Kimbrel trade is competing with the Mitch Trubisky draft as the worst Chicago acquisitions of the decade.
  4. No doubt. We run away to the best record in the AL.
  5. Need to play more small ball in those close games with the Guys that are thumping it.
  6. We should play our playoff lineup, until we right the ship. No more fucking resting around. If you are physically able to play, you play. You don’t want to coast into the playoffs again. We need to be in full gear.
  7. That would have worked. With either of these two in the OF , Sox would have had HFA for sure. We would not have had to play scrubs like Goodwin in the OF which cost us some games. This was a real need and every game contributor, not another reliever which we did not need.
  8. MLB was priming TA to be one of the main faces of baseball. TA was in line for more endorsements particularly after the FOD game. All this is in jeopardy now.
  9. Maybe the Sox didn’t want to deal with Boras? Bryant was ideal complement , good power, fly ball hitter with upper cut swing. Can play several positions including RF. And we needed him. We didn’t need Kimbrel.
  10. We need to play more small ball, putting the ball in play, putting runners in motion/avoiding DPs, moving the runners over, going the other way, cut down on 2 strike swings, not swinging for the fences on every pitch, working counts, taking walks. The way we are playing now unless we are hitting homers, it is hard to win.
  11. Even Avi would have looked mighty good at RF for the Sox now.
  12. Maybe his personal problems are affecting him. Maybe we need to sit Liam in the dugout more often. He can light a fire on the guys including TLR
  13. Need TA to step up. He has the swag and leadership qualities.
  14. Another one of many inexplicable decisions coming out of the Sox dugout.
  15. Tatis Jr, Semien, Madrigal. Is anybody being held accountable?
  16. The main problem with the Kimbrel trade is that we paid too much, and we did not actually need him. We needed a good RF instead. We could have won just as easy without Kimbrel. We already had Kopech, Bummer, Hendriks, Tepera, Crochet... this will turn out to be one of the worse Sox trades ever.
  17. Right on. Even Grandal at first would have made that play. We would not have had Goodwin at bat making the last out. Kimbrel has been hurt by hitting batters and walks. Can’t afford that in late close games. Sox should also look at how the Tigers and Rangers had runners in motion against the Sox, which tonight led to the winning run. Need to do more of that.
  18. Stoney was suggesting walking the lefty Castro to get to the righty Haack which had not looked good tonight. Kimbrel has been a bust. Can we still get a refund?
  19. Sheets needs to let that ball go to Cesar. Ruiz was on the bag to take any throw to first,
  20. Great to see TA running the bases and scoring. I wonder if he is a soccer fan, and has heard of that other famous #7 Cristiano Ronaldo, better known as CR7. Tim is also our star and we should be calling him TA7.
  21. Sox finally realizing that Goodwin is our worse defensive outfielder, playing Eloy and Sheets in the OF ahead of him.
  22. Cleveland is pretty much done. HFA is the main goal now. Sox are 49-27 at home but one game below .500 (36-37) on the road. Get the picture.
  23. It’s ovah! KC breaks 11game losing streak to the Indians., winning 7-2. Sox magic number down 1.
  24. KC leading Indians 7-0. Salvy Perez hit a 2 run bomb. Breaking the record for homers by a catcher (46). Looks like Sox magic number will go down one after this game.
  25. Problem is that we will not be facing any of those teams in the playoffs.
