  1. Me and Hahn are sympatico. We aren’t that thirsty. Stay strong rh.
  2. Yep. Passed balls and inaccurate throws.
  3. He might regress. But then again for a rookie it’s hard to groove into a comfortable head space when you are not playing your natural position on a regular basis. He’s still developing, so otoh he might hold his own if he had more consistency as far as natural positional usage. Vaughn is more talented, but he showed improvement as he settled in to left field and he knew he was playing left when he rolled out of bed every day. Now I wonder if he will keep that arc of improvement going if Eloy forces him to move around more. But that’s another story.
  4. Everything else has been mostly said about the power position characteristics. I’ll only toss in that ideally you want a lefty at first base because the glove hand is in the hole to increase range. And you want a big target there. Gavin Sheets was almost created in a lab to play first base.
  5. Eminem made an appearance in this thread. That can’t be whats up…..
  6. If I didn’t know any better, Id say Tony is doing this outfield on purpose to show everyone how bad it can get if we were to try it in meaningful games ?
  7. So Eloy in LF? Alllrighty then. anyway, I was encouraged with his at bats in game 1. He didn’t strike out more than once. Its a process.
  8. Jose. In that he is an infielder supposed to have a lot of skills but not necessarily elite skills.
  9. We do have something in common then! Woot
  10. A quick first impression of his description is that he is a bit like a Rodriguez level talent but more of a utility man. Then again I was barely familiar with Rodriguez other than a few brief google searches recently
  11. Switch Vaughn and Moncada imo.
  12. guys that post the Cleveland scores are SOL today. Have to find something else to worry about. I recommend asteroids.
  13. That would not be the reason. The division is over. Scurred, buy a dog.
  14. Takes 2 to trade. Discouraging but not necessarily Hahn’s fault. These teams are likely trying to bend us over.
  15. I will take it right to the bank.
  16. When Vaughn finally hits, and Kopech slides into the rotation, Sox fans get their wings. It truly represents moving the needle
  17. I guess we hope lineup updates will fix us. To an extent. But will need to plug the bullpen leak. Well need both to feel good. Expecting a starting pitcher run like 2005 in the playoffs is unrealistic. The team is sort of still raw and unfinished? So I won’t be too disappointed if we get run in the ALCS.
  18. Prob is Lopez would have little value to 2b sellers
  19. The Sox still have to endure the bumslayer rep
  20. Ain’t scurred. Updates unnecessary.
  21. Rodriguez, no. Ramos, no. Burger, no. Kanny kids, no. Kopech, no. Crochet, no. Cespedes, no. Sanchez, no. Kath, no. Montgomery, no. Sheets is only possible because he’s only a first baseman. Even then I shudder
  22. Were you really lol? all about it being for a rental. Keep up.
  23. Its going so well Eloy and Robert can only screw it up lol.
