Magic Number
Win tonight and a Toronto loss cuts this to 14. Assuming that the player would have to be Craig Grebeck

9/4 Sox vs. Twins 6:40PM CT
Highly recommend people watching the YouTube video put out by a Tigers content person on how Hinch has ruined their season because of how he has used their bullpen.

Winners thread ! Sox win ! 4-1
We don't need to do that. Just go .500 the rest of the way. I don't think Cleveland have the ability to go 16-6. We may not have the pitching but they don't have the slug either.

9/4 Sox vs. Twins 6:40PM CT
It would be great because one win there adds an extra game to our lead

Would like for us to be 4 up before Cleveland.

Tigers are c***s. Can't believe we were actually scared of this team. Gonna be sweet having them at home for four.

Missing: Will Venable's Ballsack
Everything that we have heard points to Venable commanding a lot of respect in that clubhouse.

The Official Scoreboard Watching Thread
Houston's schedule is pretty difficult. Arizona, Philly, Tampa, KC, ATL, Seatttle. Easiest team is the Athletics. Most of those teams are either hot right now or still playing for playoff spots.

The Official Scoreboard Watching Thread
Having hate watched Guardians media, they are solely focused on the wild card and have more or less resigned themselves to the fact that the division likely won't happen. Many of my guardian fan friends feel the same way.

It'll be exciting because we can add one number to that lead.

Tbh, some of it depends on how early they clinch.

What to do about Castillo for the rest of the season?
Make the call based on that game becuase game after that would be against the Guardians.

Thinking we go 14-8 to finish on 87 wins. Given how light the schedule is...

What to do about Castillo for the rest of the season?
Next start is at home against Pittsburgh. That will say a lot, particularly with Urquidy right now.

Castillo to Sox for Dominguez, Boston Smith, Nolan Jones per Passan
Was hoping this would be closer to Edwin Jackson, who Coop turned around got nearly 2 WAR out of in the last two months of 2010 then Shields. Time well tell.

Everyone relax. Tomorrow night I have a date. All will be right with the white Sox

9/3, Sox at Astros, 1:10 PM CT. Castillo vs Brown
Luckily we don't have to do any more then that to win the division.

9/3, Sox at Astros, 1:10 PM CT. Castillo vs Brown
False. They play 143 in Japan. And the furthest trip is 800 miles. Travel doesn't compare at all.

Meidroth has been great this year. Too early to tell on Montgomery. Teel's year has been a debacle due to injuries. Return much better than the Sale trade IMO. Think these players are only going to get better. Also don't mind the K's. In general, K's are a lot less of a taboo then they used to be.

He wasn't. This has been established. Benni is a pretty damn good leader based on everything we have heard. Same with Vargas. This is just not 2005. Leaders like AJ don't really exist

Vargas and crochet trade alone earns him a lot of goodwill.

9/3, Sox at Astros, 1:10 PM CT. Castillo vs Brown
A completely different game today. Even AJ acknowledges that.

How do they hit these cheap bloops and we just get under it. Ugh
