Definitely not. Iguchi talked about how difficult the adjustment was in his first season. Also the rhythms of that seasons are completely different. They don't have 16 game stretches like they just did. And the travel isn't anything like what it is here.

It was a gritty performance by Burke. Not good but he made good pitches when he needed to. Don't think it's a return to the mean as much as someone who needs a few days on the beach.

I think Vargas is the ideal #2 hitter in today's game. He's a power guy with speed and excellent plate discipline. He'll get on but he won't clog up bases
