  1. That really is debatable regarding Jones.
  2. I don't think Oz will survive this train wreck of an offense. Our only hope as a team is to have the starters soon go eight instead of five and six. If they completely dominate like pitchers did in the 60s, then we could win some 2-0 and 3-1 games, maybe some 4-2 and 5-4 games. We don't have the offense or set up men to win any games in which our starters only go five to six innings. We're not going to score runs. Does anybody dispute that simple sentence?
  3. Do you really think that would have mattered? Both those players totally suck.
  4. Have the Sox sold a zillion season tickets? Or do they rely at all on in-season sales? I can't imagine people sticking with this offense very long. Nobody goes to games to see strong starting pitching for six to seven innings.
  5. My problem with our team is almost everybody assumed just because we have great pitching we'd be great. That's bulls***. How can grown up wise baseball men think that we had the offense to do anything? You can call this Internet over-reaction, but I don't think it is. How are we going to score any runs at all this year?? Wait til we get on the road. My god.
  6. Ball one, called a strike. Hit a home run. Mite as well try.
  7. Omar got a hit? Wowsie.
  8. Fire everybody. My gawd.
  9. I'd rather have Baines at bat than Omar.
  10. What's everybody going to do this summer? I can't see us sniffing .500 with this offense. Can you?
  11. It really is going to be a long season. There's no reason to believe this bunch will hit.
  12. Lose this game and we're staring at 1-4.
  13. It amazes me how other teams get a break on a call, then slug a fricking single. We could get that same break, then pop out.
  14. The Sox may wind up with the worst hitting team in Sox history this year. Certainly it'll be last in the AL in runs scored.
  15. Teahen is so bad it's a crying shame.
  16. Oh, great. Home run.
  17. I think they've had their eyes wide open, unfortunately. p.s. KW is going to find out real quick offense draws customers. If our lineup is as bad as it potentially looks, nobody's going to watch this s*** even with great starting pitching.
  18. We are not gonna win this game. There I said it.
  19. Our batters should close their eyes and swing real hard.
  20. How can Omar slide headfirst into first? He should know better.
  21. Any way we fans can will the team to victory? Positive vibes?
  22. If we COULD have a walkoff, it might carry over into tomorrow and we MIGHT beat the Twins two games in a row and be happy. Could this scenario puhleeze possibly happen?
  23. Ozz isn't hitting .150 like the team is.
  24. We need Pena to pitch five scoreless innings. We might scratch out a run if he can do so.
  25. Some of our scouts' jobs may be on the line if Pierre, Jones, Omar, Teahen all suck. Or Kenny should be publicly flogged if they don't hit a lick. Can we win this game? I am not feeling the vibe.
