  1. Our big rally came when the fans started going wild with us 7 down. I wonder if we got enough fans left to do it again.
  2. We gotta get out of this with one run. Two is gonna take another Guchi miracle.
  3. What a wild game this has been. Who'd a thunk the Stros wouldn't just quit and get the hell outta town once we tied it?
  4. Fathom when you brought up the squeeze I thought s***, you are right! Let's squeeze a run in the 10th ourselves.
  5. Good gawd. Great D fellas. And great job Bobby!
  6. I can't believe the Stros have come right back. Assholes.
  7. It ain't luck when you load the bases with two outs and homer. Luck is not the word. It is awesome.
  8. At least Roger Clemens was at The Cell. He's not on my fantasy team but I have his baseball card.
  9. Montero sounds like a subdivision in Naperville.
  10. Great line, Big Squirt. I had to laugh at that one. I'll resist the temptation to pile on the horrific fantasy post.
  11. The Cardinals should be ashamed of themselves not getting one win in Motown. Ridiculous.
  12. Why do you think he's actiing "depressed?" Isn't that stretching it a bit? What's he supposed to do, juggle baseballs?
  13. Playing at Pitt will be like playing in KC and the Sox rarely take care of business and win all 3 versus the Royals.
  14. I dont think Ozzie is making the organization look "chickens***." I've heard a lot of announcers say Oz has a big heart, like Piniella and that other guy on the broadcast today. KW is the one who should shut up and let Oz be Oz. Oz I have a feeling has learned he can't trust the writers anymore and will be fine. He doesn't need KW mouthing off. Also it's up to Reinsdorf not KW and Jerry hates Mariotti as much as Oz.
  15. I wonder if Oz will make it easy on KW by resigning. KW should not be calling Oz out. Oz is too good for that.
  16. True, but I find it hard to believe one manager has made all this difference for the Tigers. Leyland has done this. I still take our team but we should be 5-6 games up after winning 9 in a row.
  17. Oz just needs to realize he can't trust the writers anymore. They will be out to get him from now on. He can still be funny and drop the F bomb. He just can't say anything more about women or other minorities. It's obvious he's joked with them a lot and now he'll just have to cuss away with no more jokes.
  18. How bout some duct tape for KW who says he may have to fire Oz someday if he keeps this up.
  19. How can we win 9 in a row and be in second place? The Tigers are annoying.
  20. Great great point. Somebody on TV or in the Trib should call MLB on this. This is an excellent point!!! What hypocrites. How is it different? Baseball has the Indians and Braves. Baseball needs sensitivity training!!!!
  21. Fields is gonna have to move to LF like some of you said he might a long time ago. There's no need to do anything with Crede. He's too good.
  22. Baseball's a funny game. The NL could somehow win the all star game and get homefield advantage. The Mets or Cards might get hot at the right time in postseason and win it all. The NL really should add the DH though. The AL is much better right now, like you said.
  23. The day Oz has to shut his mouth is the day he should resign. Oz has to be Oz.
