I won't be watching any more coverage of politics. I am gracious and will contratulate Joe and hope for the best. I will check Fox and CNN on my phone to see what they are covering. No talking heads. I'm hooked on Stern so I don't listen to Rush anymore. Stern is a big anti Trump guy so it shows I am open minded. I love Stern show and listen to it exclusively in the car.

I've seen the comments by Joe myself, have you? Fox played the dementia card way before Trump grabbed it. I'm praying Joe is OK cause I'm one of those kooks not discounting a theory that he'll be stepping down 3-6 months into his tenure as president and Kamala will have 7.5 years of presidency. UNLESS Pelosi and Co. want AOC who will be old nuff to run in 2024. That's my take. So I do think for myself not just Trump campaign.

Fair enough. Not sure why Trump hasn't faced the dementia card yet. I think it's because he gets out so much and speaks so much at rallies, etc. It's pretty apparent he's not afraid to speak, speak, speak while Joe has been bottled up in the basement so to speak.

On a sad, disgusting note: Vegas is sold out of toilet paper and paper towels again. Seems the panic has set in over unrest that figures to be coming. Unbelievable. We got more problems than hoarding TP again.

Her performance was so outstanding the Democrats pretty much shut up and accepted it and moved on to packing the court where the tide will be turned. ACB seemed so professional/nice/outstanding that the Democrats were silenced and decided to move on to the packing the court issue where they can get even. Democrats should lighten up. After tomorrow they have the president, VP and majority of both houses. That's political nirvana, folks.

Yes some people think Harris/AOC/Nancy, the four folks in that group with the nickname I'm forgetting, do believe socialism is the goal. And some cities have already devastated their police forces and certainly want the abolishment of police. Times have changed. Joe and Harris' policies of the past don't matter. At least that's the position of some of us who are very afraid of the things I mentioned in my long post. How bout somebody address each of my points and give me your point of view rather than deem me an idiot or a troll? I'd love to not be worried about the things I mentioned. I do fear Civil War; I do fear lack of law and order. I do fear communism/socialism coming. I'm not the only one. I just have a different viewpoint from you and some others.

Looks like McConnell and Graham flat out lied. Voters should vote them out; don't stack the court for gosh sakes and change the whole system. Even Ruth thought that was a bad idea. So are we supposed to stack the court and add a few states? That will assure Democrat rule forever. The two party system isn't perfect but it is a way to have some checks and balances. Stacking the court and adding 2 states or more will assure Democrat rule forever. Not healthy when folks like Nancy/AOC and Pelosi are saying the stuff they are saying about the future. Did anybody watch those hearings and see ACB as the devil? She seems fantastic. She's going to hear cases not rubber stamp GOP positions IMO. How can you watch the hearings and listen to her and think she's not qualified? She seems great.

I'm ready for any conversation. My long post on here may be considered silly/wrong/stupid/moronic by some, but I'm not the only one who fears some of those things I listed as far as a Harris/AOC/Nancy presidency if Joe has to step down as some of us fear. There's a lot to this. I know Biden supporters do not address these things that could happen under a Harris administration (some of us think Joe has shown signs of dementia and will be out within 3-6 months; I hope and pray that's not the case and we get the Obama administration Joe). Here are Things I pray Harris does, but fears she and Pelosi and AOC will change drastically and maybe cause Texas to secede and maybe even cause Civil War-like disturbances. a.)please let people keep guns to protect themselves from mobs and those who want to harm them and their family members and rob them and burn down their homes. b.) go ahead and confiscate all weapons of mass destruction owned by the public such as the rapid fire guns that nutjobs use in school shootings. c.) don't pack the court (ACB does not appear to be a bad choice and there's no reason to change the frickin Supreme Cour makeup, none; even Ruth was against that. c.) do not get rid of all prisons; we need to get innocent people out of there, but we need prisons for rapists, murderers, those who assault people, pedophiles and people like that. d.) do not get rid of all police. People will commit crimes for the rest of time. We need police or the USA is done. Mobs will run the streets. Many radical politicians want to get rid of all police in favor of counselors who go discuss crime with the perpetrators. Bad idea. Very bad. e.) start enforcing the law against looters/arsonists/rioters. e.) do not raise taxes unreasonably on the middle class; that will be so sad. f.) do not add states just to make sure the Democrat party will always have enough electoral votes to win the presidency. No need for that. g.) figure a COVID response that does not include a 2 month complete shutdown of America which I fear is coming I do believe Texas will secede if the gun laws change drastically. Texas seceding will not be good. I do believe a Civil War is possible over some of the things I mentioned. I guess I'll hide in my basement a lot if things change the way some fear they will change under Harris/AOC/Nancy. Again I hope for the best. The Obama administration Joe is a good Joe. I do wish Joe good luck. He seems to be a good man. I pray he is sharp enough and willing enough to not change the system so much that Texas secedes or we have a Civil War. p.s. This concerns me. There's a proposal I read that will, if passed, eliminate all prisons in the USA and let everybody free because of inequities in the court system in the past. A proposal is to have no more arrests, no prisons, at least that's something I read coming out of Colin K's camp. This concerns me because some people in prison have kidnapped and abused KIDS. Can't let those people out of prison, folks. And we must continue to put such offenders away. Should be interesting how far we go with some of the proposals in the future to correct wrongdoings of the past. I am ALL for the protection of kids. I have been very busy today and not studied the issue but I think the story is Trump zealots blocked the highways? I'm TOTALLY against that behavior if that's what occurred. Totally against it. I also as a hobby have followed Portland nightly all summer into the fall. And they march/riot every single night, totally turning downtown into a ghosttown. Businesses have fled. Now not every night do they start fires and smash at least a few windows, but most definitey 3/4s of the nights. I know; my own eyes tell me. I don't need second hand accounts; the streamers are pretty entertaining as a matter of fact. I am AGAINST all destruction of business and/or the flow of traffic on highways and it breaks my heart downtown Chicago has been affected. I am a law and order guy 100 percent. If Trumpies blocked the highways, I want them arrested just like the BLM protestors who do the same.

IMO, Don't worry or be annoyed about that Chisoxfn ... Vegas odds are decisively in favor of Biden and no way in hell the odds would be THIS decisive in Vegas if Trump had a chance. Just my take. Vegas always knows.

If you watch the Seattle real estate podcasts you will see the nightly riots in Portand and Seattle have decimated those downtowns, which are now ghosttowns. Keep on breaking windows marchers, you've effectively ruined your downtowns. Dowtowns ruined. And I'm not blaming African Americans. If you watch the nightly riots they are 85 percent white twenty somethings in full body armor doing the damage.

Harris/Biden are locks to win. Have you seen the Vegas odds? Vegas DOES NOT miss by that much and it's Harris in a landslide according to oddsmakers.

You guys are such a tough crowd. Who asked me to address any concerns? I have had several posts on Tony, one acknowledging he's been in the public eye since his 20s and has made some mistakes, yet I'd bet a lot of money he's done a lot of good in his life. Geez, tough crowd.

I'm very happy and kind of embarrassed for Sox nation. Fans have treated Tony terribly on Twitter and many on this board have been quite negative. People need to get a grip IMO. The guy is old. He's been in the public eye since his 20s. Yes he's made some mistakes. He also has a helluva baseball resume and I just betcha in his long life he's given a lot back to society in the forms of $$$ to good causes, etc. I could be mistaken, but MLB makes it easy for some guys to embrace different charities if they wish to do so and I betcha Tony has been generous. Just a guess. I respect Tony's baseball knowledge and despite some shortcomings on a couple occasions in his personal life, he's by no means the devil. I hope Sox fans who despise the hire suck it up and support him. Geez it's going to be a miserable time around here and in his tenure if fans hate, hate, hate. Trust greg on this one ... I thought it was a pretty good WS, but I had to shake my head in disgust at so many hitters with the uppercut trying to hit it out. HR or K. Disgusting form of baseball.
