I'm surprised Morneau didn't get a hit there. He's a good ballplayer but still not great as a White Sox. Pretty good though.

Nice hit to opposite field by Abreu. Our team is so damn inconsistent. Why can't he do that more often? Why can't he do it in meaningful games? Maybe it'll all click one year for our 'all in' team.

Had free tickets offered today and tomorrow, good seats. I've turned em down so far. Kind of busy but not all that enthused about watching our White Sox in person. Maybe I'll go tomorrow.

Hope our bullpen doesn't blow this for Q. Seriously. It would be a crying fricking shame. Get him four runs for gosh sake. 1-0 in 8th.

I don't hate him, but he is one, over the hill pitcher it seems. Baseball is committed to paying guys like Shields big bucks for some reason. Anybody could have had his line today. Any minor leaguer could have done just as badly. But after his Royals days were over, SD had to pay him a massive salary. Baseball is just throwing away money. Whatever. Very sad he wasn't traded before the trade deadline. He'd had a couple decent outings. maybe somebody would have taken him for a couple low level non prospects.
