Frazier with a helluva play at third. He's pretty like-able at times. He definitely is better than Dunn.

Too bad Rodon's defense let him down in the first. Should be a no hitter right now with five K's.

Lotta pitches by Tillman. He was on fire the last couple batters, though. 1-0 Sox after one.

Eaton fails. Got to move the runner there. Man on second, one out, Sox up 1-0.

Nice double by Melky. He pulled it but didn't hit into the shift. Nice stroke.

Nice double by Anderson. Great swing there.

Buck vs. Robin in a managerial battle is not a pretty matchup. Rodon shows why he remains a top prospect. Only the Sox could have Sale, Q, Rodon and Shields and suck.

Lotta pitches doesn't bode well with our bullpen, but at least please get out of this jam.

This is a bad matchup for the Sox. It's got to be one of those rare games in Vegas where the visitors have to be favored. This smells like a 6-0 or 6-1 loss if Rodon pitches well, possibly one of those 8-0 or 9-0 losses at home if Rodon blows tonight. This is one of those 60 you just pencil in as an L.

If the Sox bust up their solid to excellent rotation it's going to take a long long long time to re-build that part of the team. I see no solutions because the defense is still bad, the bullpen reeks and the offense is bad. Too many holes that can only be filled with first-round draft picks (if they pan out). Let's face it folks, football is all but dead. Numbers of kids being allowed to play is down. You are pretty much guaranteed numerous concussions if you play. Parents aren't going to let their kids play in the future. Think about it. Starting in high school through college a football player would be lucky to not have double digit concussions. Then the speed of the NFL? Cmon concussions on almost every play. This sport has about 20 years left, max. Maybe flag football will take its place. Seriously. ... Because of concussions, this sport is on the way out. I'd think hockey would be in jeopardy too. Only way both will survive ... if the states of Texas and Alabama can churn out enough players to sustain the NFL and college football it "might" last more than 20 years. Hockey? I guess if Canadiens and Russians don't care about concussions and keep playing and supplying players it "might" last a while.

Is boxing still in the Olympics? It should be. It was cool to watch boxing.
