  1. Welcome to White Sox hitting baseball. Hit home runs or lose.
  2. Oops. Lilly gives them the game. Just get it over, Sox and lose this game. Time to fly home.
  3. Nice double. Dunn does at least look like he belongs in the big leagues this year. Very nice double.
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 11:54 PM) Ka'aihue is already adored by SoxTalk, I can only imagine how bad it would be had he won the game there. Great point. He's like most Royals players. Once they finally get to the bigs, they suck.
  5. Great pitching. It is disgraceful the Sox can't put this baby away. The Sox on paper have a much better team. Great job, pitching staff. Excellent job today.
  6. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 11:47 PM) I can tell you that Cardinals announcers don't. They have played a couple of simlilar games to the ones that we are playing against the Cubs, and it's everybody elses fault but the players. Seriously, if your players can't score more than 2 runs against the Cubs you deserve to lose. Or the A's. This game is ova, folks. It's time for Cespedes show.
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 11:45 PM) The other announcers in Chicago do it just as much. True. I should have said the city of Chicago annoucers are the only ones. I think it's great they do. Royals announcers and most should be ashamed.
  8. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 11:44 PM) I don't watch local broadcasts of other teams much, but I'm sure they do that as well. Not many do. They are paid by the club to be homers.
  9. Sox hitters seem bound and determined to have a gloomy long flight home. Why not win?
  10. Hawk and Stoney's oomment there about the team sucking today shows why they are better than almost any other crew in the country. What announcers in this day and age can say that? None.
  11. Lousy at bat by Morel against the lefty. s*** at bat.
  12. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 11:37 PM) Good job Ohman. Very nice. Sox need to score and get this to the closer. The A's suck.
  13. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 11:31 PM) Ohman in, bus driver turning ignition... Ugh. Ohman time.
  14. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 11:21 PM) What a shocker. If I felt a good vibe, I'd sure say so. Cmon Sox make em pay for that play!
  15. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 11:13 PM) I'll be disappointed that we couldn't win a series against the s***ty A's and that Sale couldn't get a W for another great outing. I agree. After winning the opener it'd suck to lose 2-3. The A's suck. I do not have a good vibe. This doesn't seem like the kind of game the Sox win.
  16. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 10:43 PM) He's been a major league manager for all of 3 weeks. He's got to learn through experience. Ozzie never learned. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 10:46 PM) Greg wants Ventura fired, maybe. So the Yankees have CC, Nova, Hughes, Kuroda, Garcia and maybe Pettite. No Pineda until mid 2013 probably. 1.) OMG, just not true. 2.) Where have I blasted Ventura? I like him. I think all managers can get second guessed when the team loses any close game which I said over and over last year too.
  17. QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 09:30 PM) Why the f*** are we sacrificing when this pitcher is losing control Cause Robin like almost all managers play by the "book." You bunt him over.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 07:21 PM) Well I root for the White Sox to win ballgames, and they need Alex Rios to produce for that to happen, so that's why I'm hoping it doesn't bother him. I did agree with Robin's decision. Obviously you'd rather watch Rios suck hard then see the White Sox win baseball games with him, but that's your own business & agenda. Jordan for Life would disagree with you. He said I freaked out after the loss and loss to Baltimore. So I want the team to win. And I've praised Rios in threads.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 07:06 PM) What the heck is wrong with you? That was a little harsh but he had an 11-gamer going and got pinch hit for. The PH was a gutsy move as that might piss some players off.

My regular doctor says I have tennis elbow. It hurts like a motherf***er on the elbow. He told me to wear this little flesh covered brace when I'm using the arm much and take some Alleve daily and ice it. Any other suggestions? It's lingered a while. He is sure nothing's broken in there. He's no ortho guy, just a regular doctor where I was in there getting a physical and told him of my elbow woes. Can I bowl or play tennis as it still hurts? Will it stop hurting? THANK YOU
  21. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 02:48 AM) Just because someone's a good manager for a team at one point doesn't mean they don't become a bad fit for that team over time. That's true. I'm not saying a change wasn't warranted or needed. I wanted him to be Sox manager forever, but his tenure was about as long as you'd ever expect in this day n age. I'm just saying I get tired of people taking any topic and turning it into how s***ty Ozzie is (was). Ozzie is a great manager and IMO a funny, seemingly good guy. Who out there can say he's a bad person? Who out there can say he's not at least a "good" manager. I prefer the word "great" but can we all agree on "good guy and good manager?"

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 03:17 PM) I agree. Hopefully it doesn't f*** with Rios's psyche and put him in a slump. Mental toughness doesn't appear to be his strong suit. 1.) Who cares? He f***ed with fans' psyches enough himself that I don't care if his psyche gets f***ed with. Kudos to Robin for single-handedly ending his chance at a 12-game hit streak. I can't believe a guy has a decent April on here and all the Rios love. Let's see his numbers/boneheaded plays as the season progresses.
  23. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 04:55 AM) But you go postal after every loss. Not just tonight. I don't think I do that.
  24. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 04:47 AM) lol@greg. Are you going to go wild bull-like crazy after every loss? I just hated the offense tonight. Sox didn't come close to scoring. Even though Gavin was matching that no-name pitch for pitch, out for out, it seemed obvious Sox would get shut out and Oakland would not.
