I know it’s May, but that felt like a big win. I’m a college basketball coach and there is an old adage that you can’t win until you find a group you’re willing to lose with. That’s the Sox right now.

I ask this sincerely. Is there a correlation between minor league team records and major league team record? It would make sense if there was but I don’t that would be an absolute. I’ve never really thought about it too deeply.

I’m of the mind that if you walk someone off, especially with a homer, do whatever the hell you want as long as you’re not making contact with the opponent. That’s my line in the sand. No physical contact with the other team. Bat flip the fucking thing over the moon, run around the bases on your hands…matters not to me. Enjoy the moment. The game is hard and life is fun. I choose to live by joy!

I think I’ve officially joined the believer crowd as I looked up game tines this week so I could watch the games.
