Does Romo ever challenge pitches?

Thought he fouled off a cookie but he smoked the next pitch.

Aaaaaargh!

Bottom of the order rally. Nice!

What did cost St Xavier to sponsor the 5th inning and do you think they get enough return on that investment?

I like this line from the book “Ball Four.” “It’s fun to laugh the winners laugh.”

Every hitter save Peters reached base at least once that inning. Correct?

Let’s 10-run rule them. This is fun!

This could go in the “Start Believing” thread. My wifey has us watching “Should I Marry a Murderer” and I’m sneaking the game and Soxtalk on my phone. 😂

Fun inning. Sox look like they have a plan.

Well, off to SF and off to mow the grass!

Either we tie this thing up or I go mow the grass. C’mon Sox, let me be lazy.

Best thing to come out of this game so far is that Vargas is healthy enough to play.

Just have to appreciate this year’s team competes.

Am I out of line thinking letting Newcomb start the inning may have been a lot to ask especially considering we have an off day tomorrow?

Well, poop! First career homer! 🤦

This dude is nasty!

JFC.

I don’t think he was scoring if it caroms off the wall.

Yea!

And the missed/crappy call costs the Sox a run.

I know Benintendi takes a lot a grief, but he gives professional at bats. It sucks he can’t play a position.

Well that was suboptimal. Terrible AB by Peters.

I know it’s May, but that felt like a big win. I’m a college basketball coach and there is an old adage that you can’t win until you find a group you’re willing to lose with. That’s the Sox right now.
