Friend of a friend pitches for the Giants. Been in their org for two years. He’s at or near 30. Had been with the Royals. In his two years with SF he’s added 2-3 MPH to his fastball and developed a sinker. Said the difference in analytics and instruction between the two orgs is night and day. We hired from KC.

Something humorous to end the evening. I was in the press box for the baseball games for the college I work for. Sixth inning of game 2 the wind blows in and shoots our P x P guys stats sheets off his little station. I jump to grab them and kick the livestream plug out of the wall. Oops. ? sometimes I wish that would happen for Sox telecasts.

Sincere question…Do Reinsdorf and Hahn know how much they are absolutely despised by Sox fans? I know they don’t care, but do they know and hopefully are at least a little self-conscious about it. A guy can dream. ?

Just f*** this entire organization. I would really like to enjoy this team. Robert should be likable as should a few other guys, but the organization stink sticks to all of them. I get home during the evening often looking forward to watching the Sox. One inning later I’m watching “Air Disasters.” JFC

I’m trying to quote Lip’s post but I can’t for some reason. Anyway, I did not know that. I just looked up their standings, which show no ties. So I looked at game by game from last season. Sure enough, after 12 innings it’s a tie. Apparently it doesn’t count in the standings. Appears to be a no contest. I assume the stats all count. Interesting.

Alberto can go away anytime. He’s a disaster.
