  1. I’m not a Costner fan. His acting is suboptimal, IMO. However, he seems to have been very gracious during this event.
  2. Every game Seby has ever homered in, he’s hit three. Thus, I’m expecting two more from him tonight.
  3. Love the Six blue helmets. and everything this guy gets in the air past the plate is called a strike.
  4. I’m going to say it, “Field of Dreams,” is a terribly overrated.
  5. That was the play that Uribe made to end the 2005 World Series.
  6. I got Vaughn with a ringing double. Let’s get someone on in front of him.
  7. Tepera looked good. Good to see after a rough start.
  8. Fucking home plate umps. Not even close.
  9. I blame the outfield defensive set up.
  10. At least Katz didn’t accidentally signal got a pitching change. ?
  11. Throw a fucking strike says the master of the obvious.
  12. http://thebaseballkid98.blogspot.com/2020/03/todays-fun-fact-about-white-sox-history.html?m=1 Turns out the Indians game was a two hitter with two DPs.
  13. I believe he faced the minimum three times. Both no hitters, obviously the perfecto and picking off Sosa, plus the aforementioned Cleveland game.
  14. They were going so hard I was worried Eloy might get hurt.

  16. That’s the irony for me. I coach college basketball and often tell our guys that every win needs to be enjoyed and celebrated because winning is hard. I broke my own rule today. It was more relief than joy.
  17. Someone in the game thread called it a “moral loss.” Sums it for me. Glad they won, but it wasn’t enjoyable, which stinks. My asst coach is. Cub fan and I didn’t have the heart to give him any shit. Also, you know things are odd when I was happy Goodwin had gone in for Eloy and was batting in the 10th instead of Jimenez. Strange day, indeed.
