Not a lot of energy up off in here. Maybe if we all do a simultaneous commode flush at the top of the 6th or sumpm.

Every year when it becomes obvious the Sox won't be in the playoffs, I pull for them to finish above .500. When it becomes obvious they won't finish above .500, I pull for them to finish better than the Cubs. When it becomes obvious they won't finish better than the Cubs, I stop looking at the standings or reading the sports section until the season is over. Somewhere along the way, I'll watch a football game instead. (rah)

He's had a rough 6 weeks.

I won't be defending Hahn. But I will say this. When you throw a brick in the hog lot, the one that squeals is the one you hit.

It seems they've lost their mojo. Back when they had it working, even when Tony made the wackiest lineups for no apparent reason and 5 pages of caterwauling ensued, they won the game anyway. Well not every time, but there was more a sense of got 'em where we want 'em than hopelessness. Don't know where that mojo went. Now, every time it seems like they found a mojo, they can't get the damn thing working and then leave it somewhere again. It ain't right.

It started out right down the middle and then curved into the lefty batter's box. Nasty pitch. Hard to lay off. Jose didn't. Get him next time.

That was a great pitch that struck out Jose. The ump has got the boys swinging away anyhow. Ump is just a sloymy beddoe.
