So TLR imo intentionally walked Jose Ramirez after he saw that meat pitch that he just missed and was like woah I thought we were going to pitch around him. In reference to the 0-1 count intentional walk in game 1. But...he still should've just gave him the pass full well knowing dude is like Bernie Williams.

Feels like the season starts now. I think the schedule bodes well in the second half and our starting pitching is about to go on a long streak of quality starts and low era. I'm marking today as the turning point in the season.

Core has a lot of talent. Almost all you guys thought they would run away with the AL Central before the season started. With that said certainly we also knew that Keuchel, TLR needed to go and an upgrade in right field necessary. When we got Grandal I thought hmmm average catcher, but when we signed TLR was like WTF!! So here we sit, with potential but no manager. I would be very excited to get Salvador Perez when healthy to catch and call these pitchers as I'm tired of wondering why did we throw that pitch in that count and in that situation. And I also think Ozzie or AJ P would be good 2nd half guys to replace TLR. 6 teams make the playoffs this year and anything can happen so hopefully we can get going.

Might as well just watch batting practice and then leave the park. Because that's all baseball has become anyway.

Watching baseball today is about boring as fuck. No speed. No hustle. No hit n run. No stolen bases. No hitting the opposite way. No advancing the runner. No Sac Flies.

2 big uh oh moments for me. The first was the day I heard we got Grandal. The second was hearing we hired Tony. Grandal is fun and exciting but definitely not a WS caliber catcher imo. We need to really start developing catchers and teaching them the mental game.

The main problem with this team in all honesty begins with the catcher position. We need a guy back there that knows how to command an entire pitching staff.

I remember becoming a White Sox fan without ever seeing them play on tv because Jimmy & Harry were so fun on the radio side.

I remember TLR having Rickey Henderson, Dave Henderson, Jose Canseco, Mark Maguire, Dennis Eckersley, Carney Landlord and still getting swept in the WS by Cincinnati.

I remember the day TLR managed the STL in a world series in which Mark Maguire was being saved for late inning pinch hittier as he was injured He brought him in with a runner in 2nd and first base open.

You mean Jeff Torberg...best White Sox manager I witnessed.

We all know how this is going to go down. We keep playing IR and below .500 baseball and then catch fire down the stretch as the team playing the best baseball but miss playoffs by a couple games. Then we say woulda coulda shoulda.

TLR is not scrappy, fundamental, intuitive or good at analytics or situation baseball. Dude has no clue how to put out a lineup, assemble a coaching staff, get team motivated or have a spirited and fun dugout. He is only good at killing momo as soon as it comes along.
