Just as an update on this, we are going to go Saturday, for my first Sox/Cubs game ever!

I've been to three final fours. Hope you plan on paying a premium for tickets if you are unable to get them through the NCAA. A lot of the seats are sold through the lottery which has already been held for this year's. Then a selected number is given to the schools, which they can dispurse at their discretion. Back in 1997, when UK played Arizona for the title, I was offered $1200 for my lower level seat and turned it down. Earlier in the weekend I was offered $2000 for tickets to all three games. I was offered about $500 back in 2000 for the Michigan St title game, which I obviously went to. Moral of the story is, pray you get tickets through the school.

It was great to see Mario again this weekend and talk a bit of Sox. It was also great as he walked with us down Michigan Ave in the frigid cold as we pointed out fresh nugs.

Thanks for the link Mike. I know we talked about the scout seating over the weekend and while it's a good idea, I surely hope they sell all the tickets because otherwise there's gonna be a lot of dead space behind the plate on TV. I think we both agreed that rather than having that they'll probably have to cut the prices on those seats rather than get nothing out of them. Anyone have an idea of how the sales for scout seating are going?

Just as AJ told me this past weekend at Soxfest when I asked him about Minnesota, "The White Sox need to worry about the White Sox and let the Twins worry about the Twins. The lineup needed to be put in place this way to be able to break up righty's and lefty's. I think Rowand will be fine down in the 6 hole and if Uribe plays like he is capable, you'll see a lot of Podsednik lead off hits, followed by a steal and then Juan knocking in Scott. I like our lineup without Frank, the scary part will be when he comes back healthy and is thrown in there in place of Carl. Our lineup will be very, very good at that point.

I know I talked with Jason and others about this at the Fest and I think a good deal for Paul would be 4 yrs/36-40 million. If you put that out to Konerko, I think he takes it and we'll have a very good first baseman for years to come and someone who is the "face" of our team.
