This is a tough call, but off the top of my head. I'd go with "In My Life" by the Beatles.

Moss dominated them and they can't handle it. What a bunch of jackoffs.

Prepare to lose 200 bones, my friend.

QUOTE(AstralSox @ Jan 30, 2005 -> 12:15 PM) Cubs most definately. Sorry guys I don't hate the Cubs the way most Sox fans do. Interpretation: Roots for the Cubs on the side or when the Sox are eliminated. (See 2003 season.) Further interpretation: Cannot be classified as a Sox fan.

Happy Happy Time, even though it's a day late. Hope you had a great one.

Just a reminder to keep the images clean in this particular thread... Also, if anyone wants to read the full article, here's a link: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page3/story...ntyre/playmates

I know there was a lot of talk from some of the female fans at Soxfest about Scott, so I figured I'd post this and also give Scotty some major props as well: This is from a recent ESPN Page 3 article about athletes dating former Playmates. SCOTT PODSEDNIK AND LISA DERGAN The guy you always pick up in fantasy baseball because he steals bases has been linked in recent months to Miss July 1998. To her credit, the blonde and very, very attractive Dergan (owner of a pretty radical safe-for-work website) also has modeled for Guess, was the 2003 St. Pauli Girl and is currently a reporter for FOX Sports Net. For Scott's sake, let's hope his recent trade to the White Sox doesn't cripple the relationship (if it's still ongoing). Let's hope this materializes and we'll have a long line at the Sox Wifes booth at Soxfest next year....

Sportsbook is a pretty reliable and frequently updated site. And like they said, the odds reflect who is betting. That would explain why the Cubs are 8-1. And I am not surprised the Sox are that big of a longshot, when was the last time they actually won, think about it.

They are current from sportsbook.com.

I believe we were around 75-1 last year before the season.

I did a small search and the only odds I found were the Sox as 60-1 to win the World Series, here's the entire list: New York Yankees 11-5 Boston Red Sox 6-1 St Louis Cardinals 10-1 Chicago Cubs 8-1 Anaheim Angels 10-1 Atlanta Braves 16-1 Houston Astros 40-1 Los Angeles Dodgers 25-1 San Diego Padres 20-1 Minnesota Twins 15-1 Oakland Athletics 45-1 Philadelphia Phillies 25-1 San Francisco Giants 18-1 Florida Marlins 22-1 Texas Rangers 30-1 New York Mets 15-1 Baltimore Orioles 40-1 Cleveland Indians 40-1 Chicago White Sox 60-1 Seattle Mariners 40-1 Cincinnati Reds 60-1 Toronto Blue Jays 100-1 Tampa Bay Devil Rays 200-1 Detroit Tigers 50-1 Colorado Rockies 300-1 Milwaukee Brewers 100-1 Washington Nationals 100-1 Pittsburgh Pirates 100-1 Kansas City Royals 200-1 Arizona Diamondbacks 40-1 Washington DC off

How would this make sense, we'd have 6 starters. Maybe if Gooch is going to play SS, moving Uribe to 3B and putting Willie at 2B. Still wouldn't understand having 6 starters though, unless we can pawn off Garland on another team and get a 3B in return. TJ Simers is a dumb old owl anyhow, I was thrilled when they got him away from Around the Horn and got Plaschke in there, who is at least tolerable.

I'll try just BA for hitters and then ERA and IP for the pitchers. Podsednik - .270 Iguchi - .247 Rowand - .305 Frank - .287 Pauly - .281 Dye - .267 Pierz - .275 Uribe - .245 Crede - .258 Gload - .295 Everett - .285 Buehrle - 3.87 with 225 IP Garcia - 4.30 with 217 IP El Duque - 3.95 with 160 IP Garland - 4.97 with 200 IP Contreras - 4.45 with 200 IP

QUOTE(Hanky Panky @ Jan 30, 2005 -> 01:19 PM) Secondly, who the heck's Pablo Ozuna? A non-roster ST invitee who has an outside shot of making the roster if Harris is traded or Wilson Valdez has a terrible spring.

Upload them to imageshack or photobucket and then just link from there.

Illinois/Wisconson predictions

One thing I thought would be cool would be for everyone to list their "power 4," in other words, who everyone has as their top 4 teams right now in terms of NCAA seeding. Mine would go. Illinois Duke North Carolina Boston College/Wake Forest I think if Kentucky wins out, which they could in the SEC, they have an excellent shot at joining the frey, as much as I hate them. -

QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Jan 26, 2005 -> 08:18 PM) even dickie v. mentioned how the big 10 is on the upswing again during last night's game Now that's telling you something I don't think it was ever down really, if everyone got their head out of the ACC's ass, they'd realize that perhaps the best ball in the land is played in the Big 10. -

QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Jan 26, 2005 -> 08:13 PM) this thread went to hell but your posts definitely made it readable again. I appreciate well thought posts which take some time, instead of bickering and arguing over who is better. Nothing was ever decided on a damn message board, let the games be played on the court and we'll analyze here of course. All I can say is that for everyone who is sleeping on the Big 10 this year as a whole, I think they're sadly mistaken. To me the conference is pretty damn strong overall, with the best team in the land and capable teams such as MSU, Wisconsin, Iowa and even Minny and IU at times. -

QUOTE(Man Of Steel @ Jan 26, 2005 -> 08:10 PM) Ehh... 16 may be a strecth because I only said that because of my friend, but if you wanna go spread with it im down Thought so. We'll see what the spread is first. 16 may be a stretch indeed, as I envision a close game, especially at the Bres. -

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 26, 2005 -> 08:09 PM) Well that sucks.... IU's 37th in the CBS one, and 86th in yours. That's a HUGE difference. I think a lot of sites modify their formulas from the original RPI, such as CBS Sportsline. I've been following this site (Kenpom) for about 4 years now, it never goes a day without an update and is pretty much dead on with all of its information. -

One more thing I want to add, everyone needs to just quit getting so defensive and just talk hoops. Illinois is a great team, I've said it many times, I just don't believe in awarding anything at the end of January. I love talking hoops with you Illini fans, you're damn passionate that's for sure.
