Get out of work card
Pretty good stuff, Forde is actually a friend of the family, he was a columnist here in Louisville for a long, long time before moving on to the ESPN.com gig.

Two positive things about todays loss
QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Mar 6, 2005 -> 09:52 PM) That draft info is slightly different than what I have been reading (Chad Ford on ESPN). He has Deron ranked the #2 PG, behind Paul and pretty much even with Felton and figures him to go somewhere in the middle of the first. They also have Gerald Green ranked a lot lower, I read mid-first at best, and the same for McCants (their comment was something like top 10 talent, but character issues and being slightly undersized would push him to the mid to late first). I also don't see Marvin Williams or Rudy Gay on that list, who both project to be somewhere in the top 10, with a high potential for both of them to go in the top 5. Look at 2006, it has a mock for that as well, which Williams and Gay are both listed on.

Two positive things about todays loss
One bad game didn't hurt Williams's stock that drastically. He's a near lock to be a lottery pick and he's going to go. NBA Draft One of the most reliable mock drafts out there, updated daily, they've had Williams a top 10 pick all season.

Honel rediscovers his attitude
Good to see he worked out with Tracey and B-Mac this offseason. This is an encouraging article, I hope to see Honel back on track, even though most of us view him now as a fringe prospect.

That first Sunday Night Game agianst the Twins...
QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 06:16 PM) My only thing is would they skip Garland day and let Mark Pitch a day early? To keep him on the 5 days of rest.. Ozzie has already said Garland won't be skipped this year. Now if we had the Roulette Wheel again, maybe we'd be skipping the 5th spot.

MVP Baseball 2005
Anyone know if you can (on XBox) use your burned music on your hard drive for the soundtrack on MVP?

That first Sunday Night Game agianst the Twins...
QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Mar 3, 2005 -> 01:25 PM) I should be Garica and Radke.. If I figured out the roations correctly. Don't know what rotations you looked at for the Sox. Buehrle Garcia Contreras Hernandez Garland Then Buehrle would start game No. 6.

Twins not too happy with sox adding AJ
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 07:48 PM) I was looking at AJ's "official" website and came up with some funny pics: Haha...funny to me for some reason. Make your own caption to this one: AJ: "Dude, your cure f***ing sucks! My palms are still hairy" Kirk: "Man.........................shut up!" Had to swipe the first one for my av, that's how great it was.

Konerko Showing Real Class
I am fine giving him 8 mil a year, but not anything more. If he wants more, move Fields to 1B, keep our pitching in tact and watch the young offense grow with guys like Anderson and Sweeney waiting in the wings. I think right now our "cornerstone" pieces are Buehrle and Rowand.

Wish me luck
QUOTE(Cerbaho-WG @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 12:37 PM) Good writing, just one small thing I noticed: The winners just sounds really, really awkward. But if Bellarmine's name was actually called the winners, that'd be pretty sweet. That's actually how the C-J likes it, so that's why I did it.
