The only thing crazy going on is people believing that derogatory remarks are going to be looked at as being acceptable. Not much is really asked of posters on this site, as most of you have seen, follow the rules, show respect for each other and no one will have any problems.

It was a thread where wino and pa were going back and forth and it was moved off of the boards for Administrative Record Keeping, standard procedure when a thread takes a turn down the lane of personal insults.

Doubt Burke is there, unless a deal is worked out by then to keep him in the organization at AAA. Minor league players don't usually appear at Soxfest anyhow, although some have shown up before as part of the crowd to enjoy the festivities. Otherwise, he gone.

Can't wait to see him in the Cell so we can deposit a few in the left field seats off of this nag.

While he was undoubtedly one of my favorite players while he was with the Sox, this guy is very streaky. It always seemed as Durham went, so went the Sox. He was a very good player in the late 90's and 2000. Not sure what he has left in him now, especially considering the multiple stints he's had on the DL since going to San Francisco. If we could land him with the Giants eating a major portion of the deal, I'd love to have him back. Definitely an upgrade over Harris. But if we have to pay a lot of the remaining dollars, forget it.
