  1. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 16, 2006 -> 04:01 PM) Anyways, I'm excited to see BMac get the start, and to be playing Tampa Bay. Though it's only the Devil Rays, I look forward to these series outside of our division, since they're so rare now. And as Boz stated, BMac better have a tight leash when it comes to the pitch count. From the Sun Times:
  2. To me, the Cubs series this year has lost some luster since we are World Champs and the Iowa Cubs are better than the team we will face this weekend. However, it will be fun to go ahead and take them out of contention. I still like sweeping the Twins more than any other team.
  3. Kazmir vs B-Mac Also, should be a pitch limit on McCarthy in the range of 60-70.
  4. Crash just another great Rowand moment By Alex Bozich [email protected] In perhaps the toughest move he ever had to make, White Sox GM Kenny Williams traded Aaron Rowand just months after his team won its first World Title since 1917. Read More...
  5. Moving Podsednik during the season would be foolish since we would lose our primary basestealing threat and our only legitimate leadoff guy. In the offseason, maybe, but no way during the year. I actually think Pods will stay on the Sox through 2007. And YAS is right, Ozuna is not good enough to play everyday.

    Online DVD Rental

Netflix will throttle you if you rent a lot of movies. Cancelled with them back in February after being a member for a year. Since they advertise unlimited rentals and can't deliver, they lost my business. I've also used BB and they are much better as far as getting new releases. Basically, you need to figure out which company has a hub nearest you to ensure quick turnaround time when you rent. Back to Netflix, If you want to know more about what exactly they do, which they have admitted in a recent lawsuit, check out this link: http://www.hackingnetflix.com/netflix/2005...ix_custome.html
  7. After how well we have started and our improved offense, I am curious to know what everyone expects this season. Coming off a World Series win it's hard for me to expect anything less than a repeat. We've improved everywhere besides the bullpen. However, I expect KW to address that as we get closer to the trading deadline. So my question to you is, what are YOUR expectations for this team and what are the realistic expectations that Sox fans should have?
  8. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ May 16, 2006 -> 10:04 AM) Exactly. Plus since she's pregnant, a crowded ballgame might not be the best to be, you know in case of an emergency. Crowded and Tampa Bay game. Won't happen.
  9. Better get Castillo here or Mauer will be hitting for Redmond.
  10. Buehrle will start the 7th IMO. That's the first triple play I can remember the White Sox turning.
  11. and we are tied at 7.... YEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Looks like the opening day lineup: Pods, LF Iguchi, 2B Thome, DH Konerko, 1B Dye, RF Pierzynski, C Crede, 3B Uribe, SS Anderson, CF For them: Stewart, LF Castillo, 2B Redmond, C Hunter, CF Cuddyer, RF Morneau, 1B White, DH Batista, 3B Castro, SS
  13. I doubt any of you actually go to Cooperstown to watch Frank get inducted.

    J.Nelson

I'd say if Nelson throws well for a week, he'll be ready to be called up.
  15. Congrats Kap.... Glad to hear everything went great.

  18. Hey Radke, Time to get back to our winning ways.
  19. He's hurt? Shocking. Hopefully he'll be able to play when they come to town so he can get a standing ovation and then go 1 for 11 in the series with 6 Ks.
  20. http://www.fansonbonds.com/ Good stuff. Create your own and post it, it'll be fun. Tip for posting: save it once you create it then add it as an attachment. Here's what my sign looks like:
  21. Aaron Rowand..... YYYYEEEEESSS!!!!!!!!!!!! That was one hell of a play. MERCY!
  22. Aaron Rowand left Thursday night's game in the first inning with a broken nose and facial lacerations. Rowand was hurt crashing into the center-field wall while robbing Xavier Nady of extra bases. The broken nose will probably cause him to miss a few days, but a DL stint likely will be avoided. Shane Victorino will replace him in center field.
  23. Great, now we can all watch the YANKS AND THE SAWX. Spare me.
