what is the rule with official stats and postponed games? isn't there an inning (like the third) where once it is passed the numbers put up by a player becomes official, although the game is restarted completely another day? If that is a rule and the case, than you would have to count that has two games, right?

you don't trade Ordonez. keep him and let him walk at the end of the year. it sucks, but no way in hell is Ordonez worth 5-6 years $10-$12 a year. #1, because he hasn't necessarily gotten better over the years (I'm not just talking about numbers either) #2, Whether we like it or not, our payroll is $60 million, which I think is pretty damn fair considering the half-assed support we fans give to them. Throw $12 mill year at one guy over the course of 5 years and let's see how people will react to it a year or two from now.
