I'm a FSU fan but dont follow their bball program as closely cuz frankly they've sucked over the past lots of years, lol. They do have a couple really good players though. Losing Pickett will hurt however. They just have to learn how to play on the road, cuz they are excellent at home....just as Duke And to whoever mentioned UCONN, ya i agree they will struggle at first, but I think they'll be fine. Losing Taliek Brown will hurt just as much and I think the keys to their season are whether Rudy Gay is as good as advertised, whether Marcus Williams can hold the PG position down and whether Rashard Anderson and Denham Brown can handle the pressure of being the goto guys.

If Jackson continues to struggle, i'm sure we'll see at least 1 or 2 guys from Charlotte in September. Baj and Santiago seem like good candidates

Aw that sucks. The first two movies in the series were very good and i was looking forward to the third. Hopefully they still make it. Not only a third, but they had also been thinking of making movies past the third and also movies focusing on individual characters which couyl dhave been good

In 14 games in July we have managed: 45 runs or 3.2/game Been held under 3 runs 8 times Been held under 4 runs 11 times Have 79 hits or 5.6/game Of our 79 hits, 17 are HRs (22%) Been held to 5 hits or less EIGHT times (57%) Of our 45 runs, 25 have come via home runs (56%) And somehow, we've managed to go 6-8. With such putrid numbers as those, we should feel somewhat lucky to have that record :puke

This is a good deal for many reasons. With Thomas out we needed another legit threat, and when healthy Everett is that. Also, Everett gives us another lefty to break up our RH bats. Also, it gives us insurance should Maggs walk next year and if Borchard proves to not be able to do anything. We also didnt lose much. Rauch would never have been higher than a #4 for us and with Cotts, Munoz, Diaz plus I'm sure KW will get a pitcher next year it doesnt hurt. Maj wouldnt have been here except in September. Also, what this does is give room for someone from BHam to move up to Charlotte, possibly Baj or Villacis. And, like someone said, it opens a spot on the 40 man roster if we wanted to call someone up

Webster is/was the best of the bunch, and he was so young you never know what would have happened. Francisco is doing a good job this year and Rupe could have a decent career, but the only guy who had potential "star-dom" is Webster, and again, being so young you never know how exactly he'll progress
