ya, imeant using Gload as a DH. He's been semi-reliable at the plate this year, at least for a backup guy

If Thomas indded goes on the DL as it appears he's gotta come up. It'll give us an actual power threat in the DH spot. Burke is adequate as a backup catcher, but shouldnt be relied upon to play any significant ammount of time at DH. Gload is also decent but i wouldnt want him at DH every day either.

Timo's been big but IMO Rowand HAS to be our every day starter in CF now. He has more than earned it and been one of our best hitters the past month. However, with Thomas going down we could still use both Timo and ARow and have Maggs or Timo DH occasionally

He should get called up in September. Moving him up they could get a chance to see him in a few games to see if he really has turned a corner. Also, if you have a guy finish in MLB but start the following year in the minors, does that count as an option used? Cuz i noticed Ruddy Yan WAS on the 40 man roster, and if he is as fast as advertised, he could be useful in September strictly as a pinch runner. Only, of course, if it wouldnt count as an option used the following spring
