A couple years ago when I joined the board, I wasn't expecting much because I thought the Old Roman was just screwing with me that there was such a place. There was such a place. Such a place did exist. I knew it had potential but I didn't know it could turn into an entire community, and it built off of it. The site itself was shouted out by a White Sox exec on ESPN Radio 1000, there are minor league posters who bring an interesting side to the site, and the average joes add their two cents in for some quality posts. There are many posters that add real good insight in my opinion, including Rex Hudler, YASNY, JimH, quickman, steff, and many others, just to name a few, and these are smart posters full of integrity and passion. The White Sox passion was shown today when we beat both the Score AND ESPN Radio 1000 to Iguchi signing among rotoworld, espn.com and whitesox.com, which is real amazing. We set new records for the site constantly, and this shows how dedicated some people are to the board, so I'd like to give a shoutout and thanks to Mario, Jason, Tex, FlaSoxJimm, Murcie, Heads, Kap, among others. I just found it amazing today, and throughout the off-season that the site has grown lots, and I know we haven't reached our peak yet. Here's to Soxtalk!

I'm at school...has ESPN Radio even said ANYTHING about this? I just sent an email to Mac Jurko and Harry's show complaining about Levine and discussing how this off-season is successful and that I hate the Tiny Ones accessive whining and how Jerk-O reads emails,

I like ESPN Radio because thats what I heard first. I thought the old afternoon show with Phil Simonsen and Lou Conellis was funny as hell...Jeromie the homie and that hot traffic chick was good...Peggy was on the show too and she had good insight. But I guess what I love is Dave Wills, Mac, Jurko and Harry...Carmen Defalco is a good anchor too...but thats just me, guys.

We attracted at least 12,000 people to last weekends SoxFest and raised over 110,000 for White Sox Charities.

I guess I can't get Sox/Cubs tickets this year. I got opening day tickets, but I prolly won't get to see the two teams play... Cuz i don't like those Ozzie/Minoso packages.

Response to Steff... Did you know who I was there? Because I was with my buddy Ian and you didn't say anything. Just curious

I am always amazed that they get construction done in time for the season. It really stunned me that they could get that upper deck done so fast. And the best thing is, its not like an expressway which is usually lengthy and crappily done, they do a nice job. Except I am a little upset that the scout seating will eliminate me getting autographs before the game near the dugout... Unless any of you know a better place...in which case I'd like and would advise you to tell me.

I'm just hoping we make a little run for Rich Aurilla...he could fill that void if we decide we don't want to bid for a MI. Also...Roberto Hernandez...welcome to Mike Jackson? Or no? Just have terrible memories.

My mom sent a complaint about this that they didn't advertise this for soxfest on the news (ABC 7)

It was in an older thread...but basically they were talking about what the White Sox organization was doing for the communities on the holidays. There was a kid who has an illness and had his Frank Thomas picture burned in a house fire.
