This isn’t unpopular at all. Anderson has it in his cocky head that this team is good and showboats around like they’ve actually won something. He should go out there, not have error prone games and do what he does best and hit. I heard something today about how if they keep playing at the rate they are playing on defense, they will lose ten games because of the lack of run prevention. In this year’s division, they need those games, just like they needed last night’s game. I’m fine letting Abreu go and trading Jimenez to retool. They need a consistent middle infield, something they had with previous infields.

Pathetic, just like our manager’s answer about how the defense didn’t lose the game last night.

Middle of the pack NFL offenses or better. Not the production we saw over the last few years.

I agree. It should have just cost money and they should have struck earlier in free agency. Not offering the QO was equally as top tier stupid as not properly replacing Rodon.

Either way, they picked up a wildcard for the rotation in Velasquez when they could have gotten an established arm. I disagree that Kopech was the replacement for Rodon, he should have been an arm in addition to Rodon’s replacement. No I don’t think either of them should be in left field. Let’s not have any more ridiculous conversations about players playing out of position.

I’m on the list of a few people who wanted to do the bolded. But I also realize it takes more than just Sheets to get Montas. Then there was another list of people who seemed to be okay with not replacing Rodon with an established major league arm (and not just Kopech) and the depth on this club. That list should be kept too.

I do too, even before Vaughn hit a blast. Exactly. The other teams don’t have excuses playing in the cold weather, they put up hits and runs.
