  1. Okay, but it doesn’t matter if you’re out of gas if you don’t win the division.
  2. Maybe Eloy needs a shock collar to stop him so Robert can make the play?
  3. I disagree. Today, Cease could have gotten through the inning and there have been other times where the pitchers have looked at him being like, WTF Tony? Then again I think starting pitchers should be able to go 5 to 6 innings at a minimum.
  4. Starting pitching should be able to go longer than TLR is allowing them to go though.
  5. Or Eloy trying to make a play in left.
  6. McEwing should go too.
  7. At least Engel hustles. Tie this up, hit a HR or fail some more Yoan.
  8. Exactly. Ozzie would have pinch hit Swisher by now.
  9. The core isn’t fully playing together, to be fair. I despise the TLR hire and the lack of a QO to Rodon. And the bad allocation of resources and the weird bullpen plan. Doubt it happens this year, they are not in Pace or Nagy trouble.
  10. I would be happy if Garcia didn’t play as much, Grandal actually hit, Abreu was more like himself, they didn’t hit poorly as a club, starters would not struggle to go through five innings and didn’t lose games like they did to Cleveland. Seems like that is too much to ask.
  11. It’s not 100% his fault, but he’s a stubborn, arrogant son of a b**** hall of fame baseball person. If they don’t go anywhere this year or next, he has to go.
  12. So Lynn gets back in early June, it’s mid May and they are a .500 ball club with a crap offense. They aren’t out of contention and could still win the division, but what kind of record do they need to pass the Twins and be more of a winning team? I think to myself, there is still time, but it’s getting later in the season and there isn’t much improvement.
  13. That rundown was uncomfortable to watch.
  14. Two words: Leury Garcia.
  15. Fuck you Perez! Cueto just put his balls on your’s and Benintendi‘s faces!
  16. Cueto’s effort beats the living daylights out of anyone on defense and out of VV’s performances this year. Period new paragraph.
  17. I think I’m going to be right about losing by a football score. Edit: Damn, I was wrong.
  18. The difference between the Yankees and White Sox players approach to hitting is striking. The Yankees staff puts the ball where players will swing at it out of the zone and the Sox will swing at it. The Yankees approach is patient and better.
  19. Enough to line the octogenarian’s pockets.
  20. Exactly. I don’t know why people can’t get this through their stubborn heads.
  21. Goodnight all. Time to get a night run in rather than sit and watch this underachieving baseball team lose by a football score again.
  22. Ah, another person who is famous but can’t do shit about her cause.
  23. Good point. Because that’s what a good manager does. But it’s okay, he’s a hall of fame manager. The media can’t question him because he’s a hall of fame manager.
  24. Exactly what I was thinking. It’s the Kane County Cougars versus the Yankees. Maybe the septuagenarian needs to understand who he is putting in the lineup…
