He had a rough debut against the Rangers that inflated his ERA. Last start, he struck out a then-career high 7 Angels (including Trout twice) in a game he went into with a 27 ERA! ? Are the Angels clowns? Or does the kid with a .89 WHIP and 12 K/9 in the minors this year maybe have decent stuff? You think the Mariners were starting him for shits and giggles? There's no shortage of real disappointments, we really don't have to pretend we faced a "10+ ERA pitcher" to criticize the approach or results.
